      Ok.

      @ psr

Sir visited SVC and enquired the expense for changing Valve Stem Seals,Service manager told me "it will cost you nearly 500rs,as it is a karizma,we need some time and need to open up the engine head to get it fixed",so i will do it with in 2 weeks,So should i have to do or adjust anything while changing the Valve stem Seals?tappet adjusting or something?

Yeah.... Dual disks... Take a closer look at the cylinder its double the size of normal zma one.... and the handles are'nt hayabusa type.

what makes it the fastest one? can it do more than 145 on the speedgun? if no then it definately isnt.

I dont mean to offend you but try the multiquote button. it really works.

                      • Karizma Report after 1400 kms ride with Carburetor slide modded

PSR and myself had a small chat weeks back and he told about the slide modded on his bike. It was very interesting and was immediately stuck to the idea. However, took a ride on his bike and felt the rush in pick up. PSR said this is irreversible mod that you might have to change the whole slide if you want to go back to stock set up. Without even thinking twice had got the carburetor slide modded on my new bike just crossed 1000kms on the odo. Usually the AFR is adjusted to find the sweet spot for the run. In my case, nothing was done. Whatever, the factory setting came along with the bike was maintained.

Well, I wanted to have this done and this is track proven by PSR who is already running with this set up. So was all happy. I would not go into detail of the mod as it is not easy and definitely should have knowledge (PSR). The reason is that, the slide seating after making the change is bit complicated to put back into carburetor from what I saw. I bet PSR would acknowledge my views.

After the mod, the bike felt smooth and bit peppy. Oh! let me put it in simple words..see below.

Pros:- Peppy, runs slightly rich right through in all gears.
Cons:- Apart from drop in fuel efficiency nothing at all.

After the trip with this mod, I'm thinking to go back to stock? NO !

                        Please see the plug reading.

Dont know about speed gun... but this does 0-140 faster than anyother zma... And 140's not the limit.

Oops.. sorry. will keep the multiquote thingi in mind next time.

140 on ZMA is good enough and that too if it's not the limit .. What all mods did he had ?

the reason why i asked the speed gun is that they are generally the most accurate if you are using branded ones. a friend of mine (with nos and some fort of an electric turbo) had managed 148 kmph on the speedgun.

most zma have a speedo error and they show 140 even when others are barely crossing 120 on p220!

I think that with rich mixture the top end will decrease. (I could be womg though)

ok so your sure that this bike can do 0-100 in less than 7sec. And 0-140 in less than 14sec? Because there is another zma tuned to hit all these figures on a SPEED GUN.
