Yeah dude i know it was becoz my front wheel was slightly turned and besides the floor was slippery as it was marble, after me an Enticer owner also skidded .....man if this was US or UK people would have sued the Showroom for hazardous construction, but guess people in India can get away with all this easily. Really sorry to hear that you got a dislocated elbow, hope you are well now.....i am not going back to that showroom again

Man...Jatti surely has some business sense..a duplicate R15 for the price of an original R15...fck..where did they keep their brains..shame!!

          • If anyone can give me the address of this Dealer , i am seriously thinking of sending these pics to Yamaha Motors India , so that corrupt practises like these stop.Just think if some Yamaha Dealer mounted a P220 fairing onto it's Gladiator and sold it as limited edition what would bajaj do, Bang! sue the chap's ass to hell......bajju's are too quick at suing others now its their time to get sued , they freakin sued Royal Enfield for Twin spark and claimed it to be a patent voilation, if that was a patent voilation .....what the hell is this.....and i am amazed by the guts of this fool selling a cheap knockout copy of our R15 for 1 lac 08 thousand.....is the guy some kinda nut or what? Please fellow owners let's take this seriously and report it to Yamaha , because as a true yamaha fan i am hurt and enraged by this idotic gesture of Bajju's.

Hey what was the condition of the road and the make of it. Was it tar or concrete. Was there any amount of sand or dust on the road or was the road a lil wet by any chance or was it completely dry...???

i think it is a metal surface................even in chennai, ambal motors has such a place.....from where they bring down the serviced bikes.......its a slide from 1st floor to ground .....from where they take n bring back the bikes which are for service, they are made up of metal n they are oily too.......

                              • Friends and fellow R15 owners , this is regarding the engine oil for our R15. Till now most of us if not all have been using YAMALUBE 4-stroke motor oil(20W40 type SG) but i read it on Castol's motorcycling site that CASTROL POWER RS R4 5W -40 is good for Sports bikes, wanted to know how good it will be for our R15.
Castrol Power RS R4 4T with Trizone Technology is a fully synthetic 4–stroke engine oil for high performance bikes. Its Race Proven Technology based on Castrol's extensive history and testing experience ensures optimum engine performance to help provide increased acceleration under the most arduous riding conditions. Features:
                                • Fully–synthetic 4–stroke motorcycle engine oil
                                • Unique anti–friction, low viscosity formula
                                • SAE 5W–40 and 10W–50 grades
                                • Exceeds API SL, JASO MA2

                                Benefits:
                                • Increased acceleration
                                • Crisp, fast throttle response
                                • Quick cold starts
                                • Maintains excellent engine cleanliness
                                • Outstanding oil consumption control
                                • Excellent wet clutch performance
                                • Excellent protection of exhaust system

                                Applications:
                                • Castrol Power RS R4 is suitable for all makes of four–stroke motorcycle engines, running on leaded or unleaded gasoline, including all high performance multicylinder, multivalve, V–twin air or water–cooled sports or race models.

                                my questions are as follows:
                                1) Is YAMALUBE synthetic or mineral ?
                                2) Is castrol suitable for our R15 ?
3)Difference between Synthetic and Mineral oil and which is better and why?
4)Which one ensures good engine performance and long engine life?

If you have any idea or information plz share , and if you know of any other engine oils that you have been using do share info on that as well.
