Why RE Electra Delux is not available in India??
It's a 499cc bike with same specs of other CL 500 models.
If this would have been launched here than most of the CL waiting period would have reduced as people would have opted for this bike too instead of CL 500 only!!
To get the answer of your why, you should ask the CEO of RE

First of all, two years back the Thunderbird was not 1.2 lacs. It was around 1.05 lacs. And two years old, 20,000 km, should be bought at around 70-80k. Rest all depends on the condition of the bike.Originally posted by kdear View PostHi guys,

Royal Enfield with Thompson Gun mount
This was featured in the Discovery Science, Triggers: Weapons that changed the world.

A similar arrangement was tested on a Norton motorcycle during World War II by the British military. The wartime mounting looks neater in the pictures than the makeshift job used on the Military Channel. The World War II mounting (or something similar) was even patented!

Seeing the feature right now on Disc SC. What a good looking EnfieldAdvice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
