Yup, that is how it is done.

Centrifugal pump has a mesh like thing thats irreplaceable but serviceable.

Thanks, as I was looking for a second hand pulsar, the one which I examined did not have the gasket, looks like another dead end.

            Shit
If that gasket is not there only place you can get it is if you buy a complete packing kit for the entire engine!!!! And even that might not have it.
Open the bike take the measurements and buy a gasket paper ela 4 eheeler dealer and cut one out using a compass to draw and a scissor to cut.
Make holes with a paper punch
            Voila!
            I did that....

Thanks for the info bro. Actually I was little confused like whenever I lift my hand from the handle bar the bike moves in a straight line but at times it gives a feeling as if the handle has gone loose.

Finally the issue is resolved by tightening the handle. The handle was ultra free resulting in problem of handling..........

Guys, my roommate got a 2nd hand P180 and we are experiencing a teeny tiny issue. The bike was serviced after the buying process was done with the only new thing bolted on is the new chain-sprocket.
The problem is - it feels lethargic to pull in 1st gear. It feels as if the fuel supply is inconsistent and is almost about to die. Post that, it just surges ahead and works really well apart from the popping sound from the exhaust on downshifts. What is wrong here, can someone please shed some light on this?
I believe this to be carb tuning going towards rich mixture where it burns incomplete when starting off and pops from the exhaust on downshifts and off-throttle moments.

First of all congo on the ride,
Carb tuning can be an issue, pulsars are a little sensitive to poorly tuned carbs. Now, I hope it has the stock exhaust? Ffe also cause poping due to inappropriate back pressure. Kindly get the carb tuned and also check the hose that connects the carb to the air filter box, if thats loose you get weird sounds during acceleration. How many kms has it run? Wch ug pulsar is it?

Its a UG4, 22K kms done, stock bike. My guess was right then, the carb tuning has messed up, need to get that fixed ASAP. Thanks mate

Guys just wanted to know if changing mineral and full synthetic oil in alternative oil changes will have any impact on the engine?

Ps: 16k on odo and going very good. Pulsar ug 4 .

Just stick to a single viscosity of engine oil , don't shuffle engine oil alternatively, could have bad affect in the longer run, plus you will negate the benefit of fs by changing it to mineral oil straight, but why do you want to do this type of juggling.
