hehe....he is the only yamaha rider in the top 6 (rest Hondas)..., add to that his ability to ride well in later part of races(on worn tyres) and coming out tops in wheel to wheel battles..just can't wait for the season to start..

      • Rossi exercising patience with shoulder

Rossi says... “Everybody seems to be very much in shape, both the bikes and the riders.
It’s normal to go harder in Testing than during a GP weekend.
When you have three days in which to ride you can ride fast all day because it makes the bike perform better,
and above all because there’s more rubber on the track,” he said, before adding a comment about his aims for the third and final day on Thursday.

For this reason I think that tomorrow I can go even faster. Our objective is to improve our times,
but mainly to improve my feeling with the bike and find how to ride with less difficulty,” he concluded.

                        • He is kept as a reserve for Bautista in case of an injury. I don't think Suzuki has any plans for introducing another rider in 2011. However if Bautista pulls out a blinder or two, things can change in my point of view...

No intention of taking anything away from the riders whatsoever, Sometimes it feels that Hondas are showing their prowess by posting fastest times every time by a different rider so that Honda as a bike manufacturer can be shown off as all powerful and fast. Team orders?

I have different thoughts about this. I tend to agree with Suppo on what he said about hiring the best riders and get the best ride.

Things that he higlighted was like Rossi's M1 was not considered the best machine till Lorenzo started winning on it. Its same with Honda's I think, I never doubted their bike, but they didn't get much credit since not everyone(honda riders) had the capability of winning on it.
The same thing might be with ducati, it won't enjoy the status of the M1 till someone apart from Rossi, starts winning on it.
