    nice catch there pal. it might well be be 800cc prototype as well for 2012
    Or else they have found a perfect replacement should there be any absence of regular riders

      Yep, the racers are always faster than these hitherto unknown testers.
      Moreover the tester would be going all out, also the tire choice would be unknown.

      @skyknight, where'd you hear that Yamaha will stick to 800cc in 2012? Any links?
      All riders fall; some get back on, some don't, some can't...

          I tried a lot but in vain!!

          Since nothing mind boggling happening (usual front runners) on the track, here is a conspiracy theory: The T2 rider is no body else than Rossi testing the new Yamaha for 2012. Apparently he has realized that they can't fix Ducati and decides to end the contract early and stealthily testing the new Yamaha

            ^^possible...as Valentino is not riding the ducati today.., but not happening...he would be a lot faster on the Yamaha...

            tried looking for his name....quite a buzz now that he is faster than all the Ducatis....am sure the name would be out soon....

            and am kinda sure that if Yamaha bought 1000cc to sepang....somebody or other might be able to figure it that it is a new configuration (width/overall dimn. etc)...if no one else then Rossi's mechanics at Ducati would do for sure.....

                    This is Honda s best ever oppurtunity ! Looks like Rossi ll take half way through the season to be competitive ! So lots of points up for stake !
                    They have 2 very fast riders and if you look at the no of bikes they have given factory spec you can still note the arrogance always associated with Honda ! From my point of view I think they are gunnin for the manufacturers title more than a riders championship.. And i think this years manufacturer title is already with them !

                      Right on! It would be real treat to see Yamaha duo chasing the faster hondas.

                        ^^Honda is pretty desperate....+1 on the manufacturer's title.....but just don't count out Jlo, Spies and Rossi....if only they have a bike to keep them close to hondas...the honda trio is no match to these 3 in terms of racecraft, riding on worn out tyres and dogfights...lets hope that Honda dominance doesn't makes this season boring....

                          Stoner and Pedrosa smash the 2 minute barrier..... 1min 59.665 and 1min 59.803...

                          as motomatters said yesterday: if it goes like this Honda's name would be engraved on the title trophy by the summer break..

                                Rossi has bettered his first day's timing by 0.5 sec , but that is exactly what others have done too and Stoner by more than a sec ! Is it going to be pure dominance from the Australian again after 2007? Or it is going to be a repeat of 2004? Sincerely hoping for that
