I think I personally have issues with him cos his adventures are usually with Rossi.

It is so awesome to see Marquez forcing Lorenzo and Pedrosa to up the ante and take their game to the next level. Rossi is not fighting with him for wins, championships or even positions. Rossi is currently playing second fiddle to his teammate. I doubt if he minds Marc's antics
Yeah I really wish we can witness one of the best finish to a Motogp Championship . I'm a BIG fan of Rossi and he might be the poster boy, crowd favourite etc etc etc but dont forget these guys have big egos too. Deep inside he must be fuming not to have a similar machinery to beat the kid (yes I strongly feel he will show who's the best if they both are in the same machinery) No one even in the present crop can match His racecraft! Both in Qatar and Assen he showed what he is still capable of. Let everyone talk about age and all but I'm not counting him out yet and I will wait patiently for the next season to see him fight for the championship.

P.S. Please bear with me, I'm a very big fan of his

by the way, Honda still doesn't know why Marc fell during the Mugello GP while in P2. You got anything to do with that?

OK, let me contribute, picture this. Motegi is a Honda track, will favor Dani (considering Marc is DNFed as you said) and Jorge in 2nd. Vale 3rd.
So Dani cuts 25 points more out of 34. Jorge is in 2 points lead and Marc is 3rd.
Effectively, last race has 3 possible championship contenders. When was the last time this happened in MotoGP. Not since I'm watching.
Jorge now is feeling the same heat that Rossi felt when Jorge joined him. Remember Rossi said that he has to push more than he expected to stay with Jorge and beat him in the 2010 races. This time Jorge is being asked to push.
With all respect to all riders, that's the way it works. New breed to racers will always be better. Rossi made Max feel the heat . So this is inevitable, it'll happen again after a few years with Marc, maybe sooner.
This is exactly what I felt about Lorenzo reacting to MM's brilliance, life's a circle! The math sounds good and 3 riders going all out would be amazing and personally I would be very happy if Ped gets it though
Young riders pick a destination and go, Old riders pick a direction and go !

Interesting Was is it Marc or Dorna at the back . It says "L9 BOX" I don't know which point he missed (oops that was for Dani). The pit crew was right on their part, the bike was ready for #93.

And what's with Nakamoto San. Says " you said before crossing lap 11" When did they say that? At least not in the press conference. Moreover when they said before L9-10, it means before Lap 10 and not lap 10.xx. 1 set of tyres 10 laps max. I think he was just covering up for Marc. It was clearly him (or Dorna ) behind the DNF.

Lorenzo's bike swap was mediocre. MM's was very neat, smooth and impressive.

                ..........................................

Hope that MotoGP doesn't become like BSB. The top 6 riders from the season head to The Showdown and with 75 points up for grabs from 3 races, it can be anybody's championship from then on. Personally, I don't like that set-up.

All right, it's MM's pit stop disaster again in my post.

If you see the video, they 'knew' that MM was supposed to BOX after L9. And when he doesn't dive and passes the finish line, most of the members who are managing the pit board and the bikes are surprised. It looks to me that MM himself faacked it up.

                  ..........................................

                  EDIT:

A bit of digging brought up a few things.

Gabbarini is the technical supremo at HRC now. He was 'moved' since, MM wanted his 125cc/Moto2 crew chief Santi Hernandez and not Stoner's crew chief. Santi didn't think that L10 'd finish at the pits and L11 'd start on bike 2. A lack of communication between Honda and MM's crew led to this ugly disaster.
And that's why you see Gabbarini doing hand-neck gesture meaning - suicide. Proof that you need a solid crew to manage every detail behind the scene.

Now, there's ooo-ahhh b/n the Spaniards and the Italians while the Japanese look on. Hmmmm.... trouble at Repsol Honda!

I did some digging as well... From what I understand, since the rule change was announced very late, the strategic decision making happened only between some 4 people. These people then communicated the plan to the designated people in 93's pit crew (not everyone, as it was not necessary + it would have taken up precious time).

Only the part of pit crew not directly involved in the bike change panicked when Marquez didn't come in at the end of Lap 10. The crew actually handling the bike swap and on pit board buy were calm. Someone also mentioned that the pit boards on lap 9 showed L1 for Lorenzo and L2 for Marquez, which implies Marquez was always scheduled to come in on the lap he did. And contrary to the somewhat widespread belief, some claim that Marquez' pit board DID come out at the end of lap 10 (i.e. start of lap 11) which said "BOX".

Go through the video again. You 'll see men clad in blue - MM's crew are confused too. If Gabbarini, the HRC technical chief doesn't know what's MM's strategy is, what's the point of having men from Honda there? Men in white are the ones directly employed by Honda.

                      .................................

One thing is clear. MM went for the kill. An absolute attack - get the top spot and win the championship rather than playing it safe. But, they made a horrendous mistake here.

Marquez himself said that he just followed instructions on his pitboard and he came when he saw "box" on the pitboard.

I did watch the video you are referring to, but I think people are over-reading into the situation and trying to make a conspiracy theory where there is none. When you see the hand-throat gesture, you can see MM's pit board in the background. This can only mean they were expecting him to be out on the track and not in the pits. Even if one argues that they brought the pit board out after MM skipped the pit lane, it would have been too late to put any information on the board in the time it took Marquez to cross them.

Ok, so lets clear things here.

Agree Marcquez was following orders. Agree that Nakamoto would have agreed for Marc to pit in after the completion of lap 10 (cos he's the one justifying). But that same communication was not sent out to few other guys. This guy (highlighted in red circle) surely knows Marc will be DQed. The guy near the pit wall(looking down the pit lane towards right), knows that Marc is coming in and is showing him the red coloured 93 board to tell him where to stop. But the guy leaning on the wall is showing Marc the sign (maybe to come in this lap), so clearly he doesn't know that the rest of the team is expecting him to pit. That's why is leaning out showing him another sign (cos obviously he knows Marc is making another lap).

Here the guys in red both are in sync, they know Marc is suppose to come in. The guy in orange circle knows he is coming in, but the guy in green, giving direct instructions to Marc on the right of the pic knows he's making another lap around. So who's giving him instructions ? Nakamoto? (or Dorna )

@R-series: Thanks, mate! It's very clear. Had no patience to explain all these. Quite evident that there were 2 camps at Honda - one exactly knowing when the kid's gonna pit and the other one which assumed something. So, a lack of communication.

Glad that Yamaha isn't the one doing it. More so Rossi's side.
