A nice Video Interview with Casey Stoner -

MotoGP champ Casey Stoner chats with Paul Kennedy - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
Now is it yamaha or Dorna behind this?
They are hell bent upon making this the best season in the motogp era. And if it's Yamaha, talk about desperation.

UPDATE. tomorrow The Race Direction will meet the representatives of the Yamaha team to discuss the issue. According to the Regulation, the team has only 60 minutes of time from the end of the race, to make the application .

            Oh no..not Monday

            Update:
            Here's what they said:
“The weather forecast for Saturday is brighter, but if the helicopter still cannot fly by tomorrow afternoon then it will be dismantled and shipped to the circuit by road and reassembled ready for Sunday. The problem is not the rain, it is the visibility.”

            'Plan A'
“If we are able to run tomorrow [Saturday] morning, we will run free practice for as long as possible and then move on to a normal Saturday afternoon qualifying schedule and a normal Sunday schedule.”

            'Plan B'
“If we are not able to run tomorrow morning, Saturday afternoon will be deemed free practice and will be run as long as possible. Then a heavily revised schedule for Sunday - involving practice, qualifying and the race - will be run.

            'Plan C'
“If it is not possible to practice at all tomorrow, we are still expecting Sunday's weather to be significantly better and we have a provisional, heavily revised schedule, that includes practice, qualifying and the race on Sunday. We are committed to running the Japanese Grand Prix and are doing everything we can to make it happen.”

The popular belief that JL/DP will benefit since they have the data from last year. But as we saw at COTA, MM93 is the fastest to adapt with the unknown/unfamiliar. So, my prediction is that lesser practice time actually doesn't really favor any of the top 3 riders. And it's not like MM doesn't know his way round the track... He has 2 wins and a second place in the last 3 years in the lower classes.

What i'm more interested in is the weather for the race... If at all we get a wet race, I think we can rule DP out completely... Lorenzo is pretty average in rain. It's gonna be a straight dogfight between 46 and 93. Rossi is quick in the wet and saying the same for MM would be an understatement.

Rule out DP? Hey you forgot how he was able to manoeuvre the bike in treacherous conditions in sepang? When JLo nearly fell out? Sepang last year ?
He's a changed rider now. Can't rule home out. C'mon...
Sorry forgot to mention- lemans 2013. Who won the race ?

They are thinking of dismantling the Helicopter, taking it to the track by road and assembling it back. Blimey!

Agreed, I'm with you guys, but DP will be part of the pack.

Regarding Pramac, Laverty from WSBK is being linked to the ride (not official) in turn replacing Ben

                        I say he's right........
46 vs 93, then 93 crashes (and is very safe, ok to ride the next race)

QP to take place for all classes(hopefully)
QP going on for moto3 and I just got HD installed yesterday. Excited for the race.

I love these bikes running in wet conditions- small rear rain lights, stating water from behind on a wet glossy track- looks amazing. That's a different thing that I personally hate riding in wet conditions specially cos it ruins all your efforts of keeping the bike clean..lol
QP over and Rins is around 1 sec faster than the next rider in 2nd.

Motogp QP over. And which one of you counted out the Ducati. The american's on the front row in these conditions.
Jorge leads and with Marc completes the front row. Rossi 5th dani 4th.
