  • Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates

MM is a changed kid! Hahaha! Braking was pretty neat and tidy.

I'd rather see Rossi fall back, fight off Bau, Cal (and Bradl) for a 4th rather than just bringing it home. This holds good for any rider, IMO.

If I had the power, I would surely have taken few cc's from Bautista's bike, he almost took Rossi in Turn 1... Bloody nuke

@dishayu and @Vijay1911 thanks a lot for sharing the links man..you guys are life savers.

when was the last time we saw Dani so excited.

Lorenzo was getting into the old 250 class days, but Marcquez never had any issues with that.
Lonely 4th for Rossi once again.

of course i do...not my fault if a large percentage of rossi fans are seemingly that way ...most people have a very selective memory (in favour of the riders that they absolutely love or against the rider that they either dont like or never paid due credit or attention to) it seems...someone has to open his mouth and defend the other riders and keep a check on reality, no ? ...guess i do that and then it pisses off many rossi fans, thinking i am anti-rossi, or these days, also anti-marquez...i am hardly anti-anyone (neither strongly pro-anyone)..except perhaps kenan sofuoglu, the only rider i really cant like and kinda anti of.

also, i also take a shot at some hardcore stoner/lorenzo etc fans when they also say something really harsh or demeaning to other riders (including rossi) unreasonably (till sometime ago i used to be in a group in facebook where people thought i was a strong rossi fanboy because there i displayed my nack at taking shots at some really diehard stoner fanboys very frequently..ironic ? lol)...but those instances are comparatively not so frequent in the reasonable forums (and such instances have so far not occurred in this thread that i am new in, so you guys wouldnt know about it) because it's a fact that rossi fanboys are everywhere and typically i have observed it's a tendency of many (but not all) of them to sometimes/always (depending on the person) demean other riders without any solid point...by reasonable forums, i am automatically excluding piece of shit places like crash and MCN forums and the like (where i was never a member anyway)...

sometimes as humans we all say some things about other riders in a simple sporting/competitive spirit in the heat of the moment without really meaning any insult or demeaning to anyone, but obviously i am not talking of those times...

no personal offense or vendetta against anyone, which i think is obvious

              ----consecutive posts auto-merged-----

except for that great 5th-6th lap scraping between 99 and 93, quite a processional race with an outcome i was expecting anyway...rossi consistently 4th again, despite of where he starts on the grid..much needed win for dani...

if in philip island next week, marquez wins and lorenzo is 3rd, the former would have won the title there itself...that is a very likely outcome anyway..

feel for lorenzo at times though...he's giving it all this year but it's just not enough against the repsol guys on a non-yamaha track (hell, even on yamaha tracks they struggled earlier this year)...probably 6 or 7 times this year so far that he's had intense (albeit short one, relatively, most of the times) fights with someone (marquez usually) at some stage of a race...it's like 2009 for him again in that sense, but only somewhat better...

for me, today's fight between lorenzo and marc was among the season's three best ones...the other two for me would be silverstone last lap and brno..

marquez was sliding under brakes so much today, awesome black marks all over the place...much more than usual...it's weird how his tyres didnt go off towards the end of today's race despite him seemingly sliding much more than he usually does...he moves that bike around even more than stoner..

didnt watch moto3 and moto2 but glad to know finally mahindra scores a podium and no one got hurt in that terrible moto2 crashfest (saw its clip only).

Been seeing JL sharing a moment or two with the Honda crew at the parc ferme off late. Sign? Yammy is no longer THE BIKE to be on.

Rossi had a very good start. I think, he led when the lights went off. Before turn 1, both Hondas 'd just overtake without a sweat. JL picked a good line, as always.

With only Four Races to go, Marq is looking favourite to win the this year's championship. Only guy to fight for championship and with Marq is, Jorge. Only if, Marq is not allowed to win any more races and is pushed below or at 5th position. And that looks impossible.

Yamaha's are easily outrunned by Honda's. They have to produce a better and more competitive bike than the current M1(That's what Rossi and Lorenzo are keep saying).
Otherwise, it will be Honda next year too.

The amount of balls Lorenzo shows in carrying as much speed as he does, on turn 1 of lap 1 is just crazy. And he does it every single time.

                              Dear Dorna Sports,

Please add Rossi's name before Stoner in the Legend list, a lot of people will like it. (At least here)

                              Sincerely,
                              Rossi's Fans.

PS: There is no point defending any rider against Rossi. As Rossi is already a (an "Ambitious") Legend!

What a wonderful race, especially Moto3 and MotoGP. I had always placed my bet on Miguel Oliviera. Hope he has a wonderful career in MotoGP.

Marc Marquez would be finally bringing in the Championship for Honda this year, after 2 years. Great to see a rookie lift the Championship this year.

It will be interesting to see Marc Marquez perform next year. He will no more be a rookie and can take the fight straight to anyone and everyone in MotoGP.
