It's an obvious NO.Originally posted by princesirohi View Post
thanks newsreaper, the meter console looks like an excel sheet of data, or is it touch screen so riders can change some settings/mapping/fuelling if they want mid-race.?
Been 5 months since I started using an Xperia and even now while lazying on a sofa on a Sunday morning, I make mistakes over and over. To change the settings on a touch screen when you 're in excess of 200kms/hr or above 8000rpm all the time or looking to overtake or defend (Even after getting trained for the mission!) is out of this world even if, the prototypes come with a feature! And with gloves on, touch-screen doesn't work.

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
I'm not sure if this is right place I should be posting this..but since everyone here is a motorsport fan you guys would understand the product better.
Anyone knows where I can procure those brake protectors which connect to the end bar weight on the right handle bar. I'm not able to find this product anywhere in India.Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

I doubt if you will find that in India. MotoGP guys and now even WSBK, I think, are made to use those protectors.Originally posted by R-series View PostI'm not sure if this is right place I should be posting this..but since everyone here is a motorsport fan you guys would understand the product better.

Those are available for high end bikes abroad. But I don't know about Indian bikes or in India.
Though you can fashion something out with the help of Indian Jugaad
Because these things have to be made of very strong metal, or else it will break injuring your hand instead of protecting it. The main reason is to protect the front brake lever from getting accidentally pressed and causing you to crash. I doubt if you will be riding at high speed at close proximity with other riders, except if you are racing.
Check out this log of Sunny's, he has a brake/hand protector in one of the pics - Prepping and Ready to Go! @ The Grand Australian Roadtrip : Motographing 23,000 kms on a Ducati with Shell AdvanceThe Grand Australian Roadtrip : Motographing 23,000 kms on a Ducati with Shell AdvanceBiking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Dude, you should contact IndiMotard/GreaseHouse (Blr) or Joshua Crasto (Bombay) or PRS (Mumbai) for these set of things. Joel may not have these.Originally posted by R-series View PostI'm not sure if this is right place I should be posting this..but since everyone here is a motorsport fan you guys would understand the product better.

Oh for sure they are available outside even for the Ninja 250R. I just wanted to procure it from India if possible. I've seen many sellers online outside India, but just searching for options in India.Originally posted by The Monk View PostI doubt if you will find that in India.
