Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Visor do cause trouble when it rains. It gets fogged up. But Lorenzo has finally cleared that this was not the main problem for todays poor performance. He feels that the main problem was with the tyre and overall setup. You can read his/Rossi's statement here- Yamaha Factory Racing Official Website - Lorenzo and Rossi Endure a Race of Attrition in Le MansOriginally posted by princesirohi View Postvisor ...?? how...what....
what rossi could have done does not matter, what he has done is what matters.
Lorenzo's last tweet was "Sometimes 7th is better than nothing
Be positive! We will come back strong! Thanks for your support. "

I second that.. why only the yamaha factory team faced that problem? Marq is a new bee in motogp and how is he performing well right after entering it??Originally posted by princesirohi View Postwell, i don't buy these excuses, in the end, its the result that counts... isn't it..??only yamaha factory rider's visor got fogged up...??tyres..?? i mean c'mon....and set-up, who is responsible for that...??btw, pedrosa changed his ecu map or something mid way during the race.if there is a will, there is a way...!!

Yes. Please don't buy such excuses. How dare they make excuses to you. They better perform or you will make them perishOriginally posted by princesirohi View Postwell, i don't buy these excuses, in the end, its the result that counts... isn't it..??only yamaha factory rider's visor got fogged up...??tyres..?? i mean c'mon....and set-up, who is responsible for that...??btw, pedrosa changed his ecu map or something mid way during the race.if there is a will, there is a way...!!

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Bradl complains the same - misty visor.
Well, well, well!
Cal 'd beat Rossi and Lorenzo on an old lady fair and square against the factory machines and that too with a fractured leg. He's bloody gritty!
Both the Ducatis finished well ahead of the factory Yamahas, thanks to the rain and the circuit. Quite a moment for the team.
Hondas are clearly ahead of rest of the pack. It's either Marquez or Pedrosa at the moment.

Crash ends storming weekend for mahindra
CRASH ENDS STORMING WEEKEND FOR MAHINDRA
A crash while fighting for top positions on a tricky wet-and-dry Le Mans circuit brought a strong weekend to a premature close for the only Indian team in motorcycle Grand Prix racing.
Mahindra rider Miguel Oliveira had qualified the Mahindra MGP3O second-fastest, and was in fifth and fighting hard in a tight-packed group of six disputing the lead on the fourth of 24 laps of the 4.185-km Bugatti circuit at Le Mans.
As they began the fifth lap, into the very fast first corner, the white-and-red Mahindra was pushed to the edge of the track, and the teenager from Portugal was down. He was unhurt, but unable to restart.
Second rider did not start, returning to Spain for surgery after suffering a fractured collar-bone

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
Yamaha might still face issues at Mugello. Its got long straight. less tight sections too.
Ducati might also surprise us there, and Hondas are Absolutely powerful with 2 great riders.
I liked the way Pedrosa fought back.
Anyways., I hope Mugello is where Rossi takes his first victory of the season....
Then theres always Assen, Laguna Seca hehe, Kiddin'Last edited by Braumabull; 05-20-2013, 05:45 PM.Ernest Hemingway

Re: MotoGP 2013 Season - Updates
I didnt observe this before, but has Lorenzo always ridden this way, taking wide corners to get good drive??
And arent Yamaha suppose to good on brakes and have good corner exit.
Previously their issue was only with top speed...
Good old days when we'd get to see Yamaha Overtaking in tighter sections...
