I don't think its 19 Ps. The peak power figures of the new CBR 150R are yet not public.

This is what Overdrive says about the older (carbureted) CBR 150R: "The output figures are impressive too, with 17.1PS of max power coming in at 10,500rpm and 13.06Nm of max torque at 8500rpm."

Why dint they mention Asia instead of Thailand. Now this makes me doubtful of whether this will come to India or not.
        Hope it does...

          75,900 baht = 1,12,900 INR

Price it at even Rs. 10K-15K premium than the Yamaha R15 and Honda can sell more than 10,000 units annually in India.

I feel like doing naked protest at Honda Plant. I feel like kicking the Honda out of Indian market. They are minting money from Indian market and this is the treatment we get from Honda.

I wish Honda had not entered India directly. At least, we would have got these models via Hero Honda.

                  • So many guys are going green.

It is just another 150cc Motorcycles which looks better than the R15 and the performance might be better by a hair's breadth.

                    It wasn't even a 250, forget I-2 (and I-4)

So, what is the hue & cry all about? Don't we have our share of 13-14 secs timings for 0-100 and a top end of 130kmph?

Ravi currently Honda India is testing a big bike at their Gurgaon plant which is a 200% confirmed news so wait for a few more months before venting your anger for the company

@Neo - Its 27th-28th and not 30th. Lets see whether they give test ride of this bike to Indian journos or there is a different bike.

MG, 250 cc from Honda definitely going to cost a bomb. Along with this, why not they launch this 150cc in India as a competitor to R-15? When there is a clear market (I am sure this will sell in good numbers in India than a 250 cc), why Honda is shying away? How long they will concentrate on the Activa and Unicorn market?

I say bring both the CBR 150R and if possible a 250 cc one to India.

Both will find buyers in India.
