I remember reading somewhere in this forum that the Honda 250 will cost
around 2.5 L .. I dont see anything coming at the price bracket 1.5 L
from Honda/yamaha/HH..
I prefer the Honda VTR250 as it is a naked bike with no fairing and i found it most suitable for indian conditions to ride in any road conditions
it would have been like an upgraded Karizma much much better tourer
with enough power to thrill without compromising the Ride comfort and quality . But as far the speculations Honda is not going to launch any naked bike leaving me with only one option Mojo the Jojo
If Mojo performs well on road , have the expected performace on road ,
have a good quality service form mahindra and most importantly if it is
a comfortable touring bike i will be
buying it ..Errrr adding to my wish List
Lack of moolah helped me a lot in saving me from buying a lot of bikes
out of the initial exitment which i would have been regreted later now looking back .
How about that as an Excuse ? Beat it ..

there are a lot of speculated launches that are expected to happen by year end... and the mojo will prolly have "buddies" by Jan.
there's no concrete info on anything yet.
PS. those links are the last place to go to for credible info.

agree with you..... patience pays.....! btw i would WANT a Faired 250 from the biggies..... i mean Yamaha Honda..... somebody's got to steal the show from N250R @ competitive pricing (most important).....Originally posted by Jithu View PostI remember reading somewhere in this forum that the Honda 250 will cost

yes it is. according to payeng even the riding position is similar to FZ. as in out stretched arms holding the handlebar. wide handle bars. the footpeg he said was forward set while in the fz its kinda rear set. but the riding position should be very similar.Originally posted by xionite View Postjust wondering...
with the tech specs being...
Maximum Power
19.3 kW @ 8500 rpm (26 BHP)
Maximum Torque
24 N.m @ 7000 rpm
Theoretically... what would this bike feel like???
In terms of power delivery, torque etc.
is it possible to accurately speculate???
Also...
isn't that the same size as the FZ16's??
not comparing quality of the alloys etc... just inquiring.
Regardless, Life shall go on.

Don't expect it to be at 1.5L for sure. Let us wait & watch what our new comer Mojo satisfiesOriginally posted by mechduderxz View Postthe VTR 250 coming this Diwali with a price tag of 1.5L (speculated)..... an it's a V-TWIN.....!

Not exactly..Originally posted by yellowspunk View Postyes it is. according to payeng even the riding position is similar to FZ. as in out stretched arms holding the handlebar. wide handle bars. the footpeg he said was forward set while in the fz its kinda rear set. but the riding position should be very similar.
The front set foot pegs and the absence of any surface on the tank to grip with your knees takes a lot away from the aggressive feel that one gets astride an FZ or Pulsar 220.
The riding position on the Mojo can be best described as relaxed and comfortable. That's what I earlier meant that it "felt" like a contemporary Thunder bird minus the chrome.
With the Wide handlebars and front set foot pegs, i don't think that the Mojo is an ideal tool to get your knee down.

Just to create some awareness that Mojo ain't a cruiser. M&M creates hype on their product like Sun pictures creating unreasonable hype of their movies on their channelsOriginally posted by yellowspunk View Postoh okay.

Getting your knee down on this bike will make you look downright silly, kinda like the rider in the teaser, not to mention very unstable. Not worth it... although the pegs look high enough off the ground for some snap-happy lean angles, but yeah I too think RE have been given a contender. If the Mojo was a little cheaper I think they'd (RE) have enough reason to be worried.
