As Long as you can put a creative mind for thinking you can use it for loads of things.
Hey Buddy!! Any idea about when the bike will be displayed at kondapur branch

Your bike is way better than babes, only thing is that you need a proper vision to mull over this fact. :D

          • It may be only me but to me grey-silver looks the least desirable. For some strange reason.. the CBR looks entirely different in flesh than in photos, so my perception can be wrong.

I booked the red color because red will be easier to maintain and keep clean as compared to black. Since the baby blade has layered fairing, it will have lot of those so called 'hard to reach' areas.

              any other suggestions guys?
collect them from all cbr buyers and send it to Honda as bit for JAPAN relief fund..

Well i checked out the rear plastics (above the tail light) as said by other members, yes, it is not hard and presses in.. But i dont know if its a cause of concern or no.. Maybe its flexiblity will lead to longer life than a hard fiber material??
The rear pro-link suspension is from Gabriel.. I thought it would be imported..(no reason to think so.. I just thought).. Someone asked if the radiator has a fan a few pages ago.. Yes, it does have a fan..
There is also a gap between the rear seat and rear side cowls.. Fingers go in easily.. I dont know why its so.. I am not complaining.. I love the cbr.. But i go to the showroom everyday .. And keep observing.. Just missed a delivery chance today as i want the red instead of black..
You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

              • just booked a black w/o ABS at Dream Honda in whitefield

notes from the conversation with salesmen

Salesman 1 : the keys are with the owner, we will be giving test rides in a month.
the bike will be ready in a month
15 bikes have been booked from here so far
                Red is better than Black
No we do not provide black alloys
(this was all from the first salesman we met)

after the booking was done. while leaving, we saw another salesman explaining
every detail of the bike to 2 guys, this guy was a pro. We stood around him and listened to him talk about how the suspension had some dampening feature that would help while going over small gravel and stuff like that
                here's what he said

27 bikes have been booked so far
the bike will take 2 months
Apparently, the bike had six bookings last night, and the first batch will be available on May 11th

Also, i know it's been said before but the saree guard is a joke. Honda put it there as a big FU to the government. there is not a single human being who would ride the CBR with that abomination glued on to the side. you'd be better off hanging chickens or pink hats off the back of the bike

And you know there's a long long way ahead of you
But when your wheels get you there,
                Things will turn out right!

But they are extremely useful. Good clear visibility beyond the shoulders. I like the mirrors.

What I don't like is the tiny gear-shift lever. Almost too small if you are wearing slightly bulky shoes. I keep searching for the gear lever when I ride the bike!

good to hear they're actually useful.

but i still don't like what they "look" like.

a small brake pedal wouldn't be as much of an issue as a small gear-shift lever.

coz all you got to do is press down on the brake pedal...

but with the gear lever... which is a toe-shifter... the rider will have to put the tip of their foot under the lever.

which.. yea... judging from the pics i've seen can be a head-ache wid big shoes.

Something like the Ninja's rvm would look killer on the CBR.
