Actually in the previous test pics there was a different silencer pipe end [Image attached]Originally posted by payeng View PostThe "Global" version has the silencer in exactly the same place. What you are talking about probably is the "125 Race Concept" which was just a "Concept" to be shown at the Milan Motorcycle Show.
Saree Guard, Bar End Weights, Front Number Plate, Engine Belly Pan, Rear View Mirrors, not to mention Decals... a lot of stuff is missing.
This is a Test Mule.

If the 125 cc Duke can belt out 15 Ps, that too because it is restricted to 15 Ps by European laws, therefore I am expecting the 200 cc Duke to easily make more than 20 Ps in India.Originally posted by Ghost11 View PostIts KTM we are talking about.Sure it not going to be anything to brag about but more than 20bhp for sure.
[P.S: If its only 20 Ps, then it would be no point for me to shift from my P220 DTS-Fi]

Ok, I see what you mean. What you are taking about is a chrome exhaust TIP. (Seen clearly in the photo posted below)
Yes, that seems to be absent on the pics posted on page 22. But then its just a tip and can always be put on the final finished product.

Now that the bike being tested in bangalore has no decals, I wonder what decals will the production bike come out with?
Something like BAJAJ-KTM Duke or just KTM Duke. Now with Bajaj branding their bikes as Pulsar, Discover and not using the Bajaj logo, maybe they will create a brand as DUKE 200, DUKE 250 and so on in the future.
Scientists call it C9 H13 NO3. People call it adrenalin. I call it my RTR.

they'll be following the same strategy as they do with ninja.. the ktm might be made in their plant but it won't have their logo...Originally posted by slipstream_RTR View PostNow that the bike being tested in bangalore has no decals, I wonder what decals will the production bike come out with?

Bike looks great. The only thing i fear of having this bike in india is its naked radiator any fool can damage the fins of radiator. It require only slight pressure of finger to damage bend those aluminium fins(if you have seen the same on ac condenser fins)Originally posted by sunilg View Post

In the image one can already notice the bent fins at some places.

At 200 cc, I am not expecting it to be much powerful than my 20 Ps P220 DTS-Fi.
Seriously stick to any one thing.First you said you DONT expect it to make more than 20Bhp and after i replied you say i EXPECT it to make more than 20 Bhp....Originally posted by payeng View PostIf the 125 cc Duke can belt out 15 Ps, that too because it is restricted to 15 Ps by European laws, therefore I am expecting the 200 cc Duke to easily make more than 20 Ps in India.
