    I don't actually..

But I know that people either Love a KTM or they Hate it. It has always been so with KTM.
So maybe you belong to the second category.

yea true... Maybe I am too desi to fall in love with it...

What I meant was there isn't love at first sight with the bike... Like it was for me with the 220... I find it just another bike...

"No fairing + Exotic Off road genes" is making the Baby Duke more appealing to me.

Let's see how much genes they carry on to this baby but talking from a sales point of view, this bike wont do any great numbers. It's fine if Bajaj is trying to lift it's image from a desi bike maker to international maker through this bike.

              • When the yamaha and honda who are in business in indian soil for years never launch any model directly india how come KTM launch the Duke 200(as speculated here) make a direct entry into india . Visit the KTM site for Duke125 speccifications the power and torque are marginally closer with our own Desimade P135 ; But see the kind of other instruments used all are expensive ones so even if the existing Duke125 is launched sometime this year the indian automotive market is definitely going to react negative with the presence of pulsar135 already in sales ; moreover p135 already posses the so called 4valve DTS-i engine and is marketed as being worlds first to use such a technology ; IMO KTM neither Duke125 nor (the much speculated) Duke200 will be launched , instead bajaj may attempt to bring the superbike line up of KTM . With BAL on intensive Brand building dropping Family name and to name PUlsar I dont think they bring KTM's with small hearts , So ppl lets edxpect something big Supermoto,s or superbikes
@chichane P220 is already being exported to colombia and some other south american countries
@ All we can rather expect a new pulsar with 4 valve engine and design cues of KTM

ktm 125 is not launching in india just simply because of the price product ratio, you are correct.

yes it is having 4 valve, but the valve head design and geometry is very different from ktm counter parts.

in near future bajaj will as many think, but its more or less makes more sence to bring 200,its made most out of desi parts apart from wheels which are from chaina and some forged aluminiam parts, whicha are from poland.so pricing will be tight.

true my friend, rajiv sir only told the new gen pulsars will be sharing parts from ktm/bajaj parts bean.

                            • After reading previous posts and watching videos and images, I must say that DUKE is one of the hottest bike to hop on.

However, my savings will first go for R25/R15 or whatever; next would be definitely for this one...
