    I think Indian Bike Manufacturers are becoming more alert to sustain in market after hearing about launches of CBR250.
    For 2011 Iam sure CBR250 would take over the market.

      Great....i am seeing Bajaj as the No1 bike maker in the world in next 5-6 years as there are concerns that the Hero Group might not be able to sustain the performance of the Joint Venture alone..

      Best of Luck to Bajaj.

        thats a niche segment product where other companies not even exist....a major pie of Indian market is dominated by 100-125 cc bikes..

              1. Agreed fully...in fact may be less than 5% ...actually I can prove to the world that there are better mechanics in Bajaj svc centres than others, they toil and sort niggles/issues to their best capabilities. Whereas in HH/HMSI/Suzuki/Yamha, mechanics simply follow standard procedures, their best work is ensuring correct amount of oil is poured into the chamber . This also means these manufacturers produce the product to a very good standard/s which ensures niggles / issues are not a possibility.
              Essentially, I mean Bajaj needs to pull their socks in it's factory ethics and ensure better build quality, and I am sure the mechanics are doing more than decent job than their peers !

                        Completely Re-Engineered: also means a whole new set of new and improved niggles waiting for early adopters.

                        What's required more is completely re-engineered service centers with more PBK service points.

                          Well maybe that's exactly what they dont want to do!
                          Indian brands aren't always taken well by other parts of the world, specially when it comes to quality. Obviously better than China, but still not up there.

                          And secondly, as someone had rightly mentioned, Pulsar and Discover brands are large enough to get their own badging. They need not carry the burden of the corporate brand.

                            Bajaj has come a long way from when it released the first batch of the (problematic) Pulsar 220s (PP220's? )

                            Maybe buyers of the new Pulsars should go to Bajaj and claim a fixed amount for every new bug that they find

                              I am more interested in knowing, if Bajaj will go back to the FI for the big P250.
                              @Payeng your thoughts on this?

                                From whatever I have observed in the Indian market, plonking an Fi unit hikes up the cost by 15-20K.

                                Having said that Fi is definitely the way to go in the future.
                                I hope mass production could lead to lowering the price of the Fi unit which currently is too much of a premium.
