1. Agreed fully...in fact may be less than 5%Originally posted by aargee View Post1. Servicing - There should be only about 5% of the entire biking community or less who're really happy about servicing their vehicle at A.S.S. With the number of motorcycles increasing day by day & still unable to meet the expectation, how're they going to handle this sudden splurge? I hope they do something to improvise.
...actually I can prove to the world that there are better mechanics in Bajaj svc centres than others, they toil and sort niggles/issues to their best capabilities. Whereas in HH/HMSI/Suzuki/Yamha, mechanics simply follow standard procedures, their best work is ensuring correct amount of oil is poured into the chamber
. This also means these manufacturers produce the product to a very good standard/s which ensures niggles / issues are not a possibility.
Essentially, I mean Bajaj needs to pull their socks in it's factory ethics and ensure better build quality, and I am sure the mechanics are doing more than decent job than their peers !

I really hope BAJAJ also improves their instrument quality....tht plonked onto the KTM engine would be sweeeet!
but i hope to see BAJAJ as the Brand name!
its nice to have a genuine Indian name on it!Smoke rubber,not tobacco.

Well maybe that's exactly what they dont want to do!
Indian brands aren't always taken well by other parts of the world, specially when it comes to quality. Obviously better than China, but still not up there.
And secondly, as someone had rightly mentioned, Pulsar and Discover brands are large enough to get their own badging. They need not carry the burden of the corporate brand.

Bajaj has come a long way from when it released the first batch of the (problematic) Pulsar 220s (PP220's?Originally posted by tanay View PostCompletely Re-Engineered: also means a whole new set of new and improved niggles waiting for early adopters.
)
Maybe buyers of the new Pulsars should go to Bajaj and claim a fixed amount for every new bug that they find

@Payeng your thoughts on this?
From whatever I have observed in the Indian market, plonking an Fi unit hikes up the cost by 15-20K.
Having said that Fi is definitely the way to go in the future.
I hope mass production could lead to lowering the price of the Fi unit which currently is too much of a premium.
