FI and four valve 180cc engine should be able produce ~19 bhp. (My assumption)
Having based on P135 light chassis and better handling this should be able to knock down the competition from its segment.
There's apparently no delivery period for any current bajaj model. So we can expect same about future models also.
180 with FI, 4 valves and liquid cooling will be super perfect! We 'll have to rephrase the old saying to 'got sold like the new Pulsars' instead of ' got sold like hot cakes'!

I think it was the time when Rahul bajaj spoke about N650, he mentioned that the new Pulsars are coming. But it was when he spoke about the new Boxers two - three months ago, he mentioned that September is the time.

        • The only thing i can do is, pray, that these new pulsar's get launched in September Only.

But again KTM200 " Auto Expo " news makes me think and wait for them too. Lets hope Pulsar Gets Out By this September and then can decide so.

          • One thing I have learnt is trust Bajaj on the timeline. So I am confident and excited for September.

            • well the new pulsars' variant with ktm parts, liquid cooling, monoshock and fuel injection and some couple of other gadgets and features are far above the current line of pulsars, i think. So there should be a high premium say of 10000 or 15000 bucks for the upgrades of 150/180 i think. . .
now 150 (in kerala) costs around 64500 INR ex showroom and after the upgrade is launched the price on tag may be 75000bucks or more. . .
what you think guys. . .?

I do hope Bajaj Live upto their promise unlike some other companies, I was really sad to hear that the new R15 will have the same engine today in the news.

R15 was already filled up to the brim for a 150 cc bike. All they could do was just improve the few niggles here and there. But Pulsars have a lot of things that can be improved starting with the 4 valves, FI and liquid cooling. Hope we are not disappointed.

I would prefer if Bajaj works on the quality side rather than all these gimmicks... R15 does that.. It gives the best techies with the best quality... Pulsars have the trademark poor quality in their digi console and LED tail lamps (Almost 50% of pulsars have these issues)... Dont forget the engine noise that changes within a year...

Bajaj should think about technology with quality...

P.S - Just my personal comments

85000+ kms --> no problems ever with digi console or LED tail lamps whatsoever. period.

engine noise /vibrations/gear shift etc are some areas that needs to be looked into, but don't compare BAL with YAMAHA, they have all the knowledge base / technical epertise/experience of years, BAL has just learned to design bikes. i think it is creditable to produce such a bike in such a short time span.

                      • going for the last species of the legendary pulsar 150. . . (ug4.5)
and probably. . . if i consider an upgrade it must be nothing less than a ktm. . and now no more waiting as i wish to get a KTM within 5 years only. . . so now convinced myself with a decade's king in the lot. . .

Some guys just dont like BAL, I guess its because an R15 cannot outperform a 220..?? For those guys, this is not the story today. Bajaj machines are getting deliciously sweet...... Definitely male...

If you haven't used one then please don't offer your personal so called comments.

Don't hear what people say... Its common that people who don't have Pulsar hate it coz of its popularity and also the no.1 seller in India that too 5 times more than any other bike. And thus those haters spread wrong info everwhere.

If it was really faulty or bad quality it would not have been the NUMBER 1 Performance bike of INDIA. In 150 cc to 220 cc range, no bike sells as much as PUlsar.

                                Hope you're right!

But i'm guessing it'll again be a naked bike? Just like the KTM.. Will there ever be a full faired Pulsar? That's what's gonna make jaws drop.. (In a positive way though)

Why aren't there any spy pics floating around the web just like the R15.
