Don't know about the looks but the way the baby Pulsar (135LS) handles and the way it's engine feels relaxed at high rpms, it probably gives a small peek into what the next gen would be like.Originally posted by vrugonnab View PostOne interesting point to consider about next gen pulsars is styling, will it be edgy like P135LS or will it be more of evolution compared to current gen pulsars? I will definitely like it on the lines of P135LS, but what's cooking inside Bajaj?
Regardless of the launch timings, the KTM will appeal to a different set of bikers.. also with a higher budget.Originally posted by bprags View PostWhat ever the styling, everyone in India looks forward to what the leader is gonna come up with this time
. I just wish they launch it before the KTM, else the pulsar's will loose the limelight.
It was officially stated that the KTMs will be priced much higher (probably double) than the Pulsars.

That someone is meOriginally posted by vivek_k_p View PostThe new color tone available on pulsars. Got it with today's news paper.
As someone said earlier this is to clear up the old stocks.
Bajaj announced the launch of new Pulsars by September. The older stock needs to be cleared ASAP. What is the best way? Launch a special color edition! The same special color editions are generally launched in a product towards the end of its life time to clear up the stock generally. It goes true for both 2 and 4 wheels. History is the proof for that.2004 Bajaj Discover 125 DTSi - 26000 KM - Sold

+1...Originally posted by Mzee_Maverik View Postwhats the need testing bro? it will be tested by first lot of owners as usual
....thats what bajaj has been doing so far! They get the feedback from service stations(where customers go for first few free servicing) & then try to improve on major common defects noticed!

I know you are fed up of losing all time against the Pulsar 220 or even Yamaha R15.

1: i also have a pulsar 150 and i know what are the issues with this bike.Originally posted by saurabh81 View PostEvery product undergoes testing...
And if Bajaj products are inferior why do they sell the most (150+cc)????
2: i dont race bro and if i do i wouldn't have gone with ZMR
3: no one denies the fact (other than new customers and die hard fans) that bajaj has quality issues.
4: P150 sells because of its brand value and is cheap than most of the other 150CCs and as i say P150 is people's new splendor
@saurabh: i know that every product undergoes testing but still every new product which bajaj offers has a lot of niggles and im not saying that they aren't improving
PS: i cant understand why people feels that a bike is good only if it can win races...

It applies only when you buy a powerful bike above 200cc... What the use of buying a bike (Karizma) which can't even cope with a 150cc bike like R15.i cant understand why people feels that a bike is good only if it can win races...

Then it would be better to buy any 150cc bike or even Splendor... Just for riding pleasure and not for anything.
Honda Unicorn (which is the best 150cc bike) costs less than Pulsar 150.... And still people buy pulsar 150. And earlier Hunk n CBZ were also cheaper...P150 sells because of its brand value and is cheap than most of the other 150CCs and as i say P150 is people's new splendor2000 - Hero Honda Splendor

The answer is simple. Nobody likes to wait 3-6 months to get a bike so people go for the next option.Originally posted by Digital_shubhi View PostHonda Unicorn (which is the best 150cc bike) costs less than Pulsar 150.... Lol... Then still Hunk n CBZ are there... But very less people buy it.The answer is simple. Nobody likes to wait 3-6 months to get a bike so people go for the next option.
Pulsar 150 sells all the way no matter what happens

2010 - Pulsar 220

Of course, they have quality issues and they're improving, but are you aware of KTM's involvement in this Pulsar?Originally posted by Mzee_Maverik View Postfrom next time do mind your language

After that do you still expect quality issues? Even Bajaj are aware of their weak points, I hope you realize that.
See, every bike mentioned here including Karizma, P220 & R15 are primarily meant for the road, not racetracks. And the open road specially.
Karizma has a nice engine, but its derived from an off roader.
P220 is the best example of how a road going flagship should be- enough midrange and top end to handle the competition. and Still practical enough.---

, for sure we know that next gen pulsars are going to share platform with Duke's. That means engine+chasis+suspension are going to be all new. Really expecting a highly capable iteration of Pulsars this time, the ones that will send competition scurrying for their drawing boards!
Yeahh.....it should be no vibrations
.
Hope they get a completely different bike now rather than modifying the same bikes. Its been enough time they have tried something new in the performance segment.
