I think someone has hacked the bikedekho website. The wordings on the entire overview(follow above link) page with text 'Pulsar' is renamed to 'Bajaj Pulsar 300' !!!
"This variant of Bajaj Pulsar 300 offers mileage 56.5kmpl in urban roads while on highway it offers 65kmpl mileage. Third one is the more powerful variant of Bajaj Pulsar 300 which is powered by the 178.6cc, 4-stroke, Air-cooled, DTS-i (Digital Twin Spark Ignition) petrol engine with five speed manual transmission gearbox"MJ
**I did not get a PULSAR cuz I wanted a BIKE!!**

It's good to see Bajaj going places.. they are certainly in right direction as far as motorcycles are concerned. I'm sure they are going to give tough times to competition here.. and to us as well
, in waiting for upcoming exciting products from them.. I do have great expectations from Bajaj.. let's see what they bring in this year.

Going by Bajaj's track record... if upgraded 220 is in the market, then current 220F will be phased out without any thought.Originally posted by princeot View Posti'm planning to buy a pulsar220f
i love the current version
will it still be available in and around september?Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

Not really sure about it.. that's what I said.. if upgraded 220 gets launched before september then in all probability current 220F will be discontinued.. but that's a is big IF.. only if they launch.. when they will launch is the big question!!Let's bring down the monster of corruption to it's knees.. please visit http://ipaidabribe.com/

Hope bajaj keeps the provision of upgrading to liquid cooled technology from the prior batches...
i however feel another gear to the gearbox was something more urgently needed...

phasing out 220 so quickly will be difficult..... its already a popular model and the new model has been tested in terms of their performance or acceptability among customers..... once the new model is accepted current 220 might be phased out.....

Maybe the older models can co-exist together...Originally posted by pads View Postphasing out 220 so quickly will be difficult..... its already a popular model and the new model has been tested in terms of their performance or acceptability among customers..... once the new model is accepted current 220 might be phased out.....
Just like:
Ford has retained the original "Fiesta" by rebranding it as the "Fiesta Classic".. and the new Fiesta has just been introduced in India.
Maruti still sells the Alto & A-Star both of which are basically upgrades (different generations) of the Maruti 800.
Hyundai still sells i10 (which is the upgrade of the Santro) along side the Santro.

^^ it maybe possible..... older models can co-exist with the current line-up, in India..... the best example is Maruti Suzuki..... we still get 800, Alto, A-Star, Zen, Wagon-R, Ritz..... these all are the upgrades of 800 and has some models have been phased out in other countries..... but seeing Bajaj's trend I had a different perspective..... though it'll be good to have the older models with the current line-ups.....
