      speedo console looks really awesome... really like to see this type of console on new gen pulsars
      Thanks Vishnu for bringing this up. Even I had this thought running - The sound of the Duke - I hope it gives out a masculine roar and not a subdued whirr! (within limits and compliance regulations of course). Hope its not just visual presence on the roads alone but audio presence as well.

      Regarding pricing, I have an update to all of you guys - Not official but reliable - Should be priced around 1.25L Range. (Not vouching for it though).

          Sir ji - Thought as much. Just brought it up so nobody gets any idea's of vandalizing the handsome Duke!

          Bangaloreans - Though there are two PBK outlets in Blr, I guess only the Indiranagar PBK outlet deals with sales.

            + 1 to that...
            Owned - Yamaha RX100 -> TVS Fiero F2 -> Yamaha R15 -> KTM RC390

                Not sure what to say!! Europeans place lot of emphasis on quality of fit & finish, and most of journos reviewed Duke 125 explicitly mentioned that build quality is top notch. What makes you think that Bajaj will pick Duke 200 India bound units for special/shoddy treatment, after all same model will be exported to other countries as well. It's better if people come out of "foreign made is always better, Indian made is always inferior" mentality.

                And yeah, even if it comes way better in CKD route, it will also cost way more, almost as much as Ninja 250.

                  it is not like Indian made is inferior but we get Inferior products whether its built here or anywhere else, which is unfortunately a reality.
                  whether it is computer motherboards or motorcycles 2nd quality things are exported to 3rd world countries which is a shame really
                  I really love to see Duke a better product

                          Disagree, we don't get inferior products, may be those with archaic tech and in most cases stripped down versions of the original product, understandably so. If the same product needs to come with latest tech/full features it would cost a lot more and hence will end up with fewer buyers, which is not what a manufacturer would like. But, this is all changing slowly with companies shifting their manufacturing base to India. Look at Hyundai, they are offering the latest products in India. Now that Honda, Toyota are also producing out of India. So things will change as market starts to show signs of maturity.

                                Well its not BAJAJ,its a KTM product.If BAJAJ needs to protect the VFM tag it should be on the PULSAR range right?
                                and thats what it looks like the rumored PULSAR 250 might be the Budget segment and KTM and KAWASAKI will be the Higher-end segment.That seems more logical from a BAJAJ POV.

                                and i hope BAJAJ doesn't go ahead and decide we Indians only need couple of color options like they did with the NINJA's!
