WoooW, Thanks a looot for the good set if pics Yogesh.Originally posted by ynike99 View PostHi guys. The speculation is over.some CLEAR pics of the 390.Saw the bike enroute pune.
One question to you, do you remember the series of those metzeler tyres ? was it M3, M5 or something else.
Seeing the pics i am guessing it is Metzeler Sportec M5 Interact, which is an addition to the cost of the bike.

Yikes. That's a lot of kmpl for a 375cc motor!!Originally posted by ynike99 View Post

Maybe they are running test of some sort!?!? If they have removed the O2 sensor feedback from the 390 that is a considerable step down I'd say

Hopefully its just for test sake & they won't take the open loop route like R15/220Fi.Originally posted by Praful View PostMaybe they are running test of some sort!?!? If they have removed the O2 sensor feedback from the 390 that is a considerable step down I'd say
edit: some interesting results if you google for 'KTM O2 sensor eliminator'

Probably incorrect. I remember the Duke 200 showing 60 kmpl on the meter while in reality it was giving 30+!!!Originally posted by R-series View PostThat's one of the few reasons I'll be exchanging my Ninja

That was probably some experiment to extract the maximum kmpl so that they can scream loud on the print ads! This kind of setup on a highway riding just adds up to this conviction!!!Originally posted by somen1984 View PostWhat is this bottle doing there ??Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. Interesting find there. But I don't think they will want the headache of having different ecus for export and local models.Originally posted by samschenker View PostHopefully its just for test sake & they won't take the open loop route like R15/220Fi.

60 is freakishly high and in believe able. But 38 is a believe able figure... if the Ninja 650 can give 30+ during running in... why can't this little fella :-)Originally posted by The Monk View PostProbably incorrect. I have very little knowledge of o2 sensors, but isn't a lack of o2 sensor a good thing? I was told it's used only to comply with emission norms and actually has a small negative impact on performance AND fuel economy? Can someone explain?Bajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005

We were riding 80-90+, he was ahead of us.The Mileage figure on our bikes(All duke 200) was 43-46 and i got 39kmpl(tankfull method). So expecting a real life mileage of 25 in city and 30-35 on highways on 390.And that 60+ would be downhill for sure.It even shows 90+ on a long slope, bike in neutral.Originally posted by The Monk View PostProbably incorrect. Yes.Check the head.oil filler cap placement and you will know.Originally posted by Dreamwalker987 View Poststill can not belive 390 with 38kmpl!!!!...are you sure it was 390?
The test rider said, kuch oil ka hai, mujhe bhi pata nahi itna.No idea bro, im just your regular biker who happened to see the duke and snapped it.Originally posted by somen1984 View PostWhat is this bottle doing there ??

I was referring to duke 390 (india) website as well. I can see the ABS discs in the 360 view.Originally posted by R-series View PostI was talking about the 360 degree view on the website, but the pic helped for sure. I hope they bring in ABS as standard for India as well.
Btw, noticed the pics above, where did the end bar weights go? and the orange frame, and the orange wheels. But this could be just for testing, so no point in coloring the same :PBajaj Pulsar 150 : 2004-2005
