Would have been awesome, if the currently selling 250R remains as it is and this one is called the ZX 2R.
    Thats a brilliant thought.

Anybody wants grab rails, get the bike(when it launches) and do some DIY local 'jugaad' to get the grab rails for your own personal satisfaction. I, for one, am very happy by just the way it looks!

but if we are lucky the bike may retail at the same price and current model may be scrapped.

it quite and exciting time for the ninja 250
Sir I didn't get you what you mean by 3 models and priced at 4 lakhs you must be kidding

Enough already, as per the pic it clear that it has aesthetically made grab holes. I posted about the grab rails is coz I found difficult to sit on my friends N250R as pillion when there happens to be a sudden braking/acceleration of the bike which makes me think it could have been nice if there's a grab rail. Also my friend also said about how good a grab rail is good in CBR250R. Note he use this bike for commuting also.

P.S: This is not a comparo about these bikes. My point is it could have been lot better if a grab rail is present which won't destroy the current/awesome look of the bike. So chill, pls stop the grab rail discussions and move on...

Finally Kawi gets a much awaited/needed upgrade for the worlds finest 250! The Lime Green/Ebony looking great Vs the plain looking Lime Green. The design looks like a breed (more)of a N650r and the zx10r without changing the current 250r ergonomics(i think). Its high time that yammi think/rethink about their 250cc strategy(no fazer/fz please)
The best has become even better!!

This bike was officially unveiled in Indonesia on 1st Aug.. probably there has been no bump in the power output.

finally kawasaki has updated the ninja250....it was desperately needed.

the new design looks fresh and better than the other 250 cc bike.
and its a good thimg that they have finally put a digital instrument console.
the digital instrument cluster looks a bit too much colorful.... and by the shape of it....it looks straight out of a space ship or something like star wars.
could have been better but this is good.

more torque available in low and midrange-does it mean sacrificing some of its top end punch.?
and combined with new chasis and wider tyre-does it mean less flickable?
and everything combined- is it that kawasaki is trying to make it more practicle, easy to ride in city and thus giving it a bit sport tourer like character. making it less flickable and more stable in straight line, more low and mid range and compromised topend. just my doubts.
anybody knows the change in wheelbase? rake and trail? what kind of suspension changes?

this one seems like a kickass model.

cani ask something more? make india as a production base and export to the world and gove it to us much cheaper.

its either 2kilos heavier or there is no change in weight. But definitely not 9kilos heavier.

Very nice upgrade and well said by someone - The Best 250cc bike in the World just got better.

And its good that it doesn't have any grabrails as people buy it as a mini sports bike and not as a Splendor or Discover. LOL
                                :) :D
