            OT:
            Display/demo vehicles are sold at discounted prices, atleast that is the norm in car showrooms. And even the test drive vehicles are refurbished and sold ( those without that demo car paint/sticker job ) Whenever there is new update or facelift the older demo versions go under the hammer. If you are well acquainted with the showroom dealer, you can get your hands on one. Many may say it is unethical, shady, yes, it may be, but it is in practice. My friend bought a top end Punto petrol( old version ) in this manner. And if you can scour through xbhp, one of them bought a inazuma display bike similarly.
            And if ever a dealer becomes extra polite n extra nice to you all of a sudden when procuring an exterminated product or which is in short supply saying that he took that extra pain n went that extra mile just for you, it's high time to be that extra cautious.

              Just concerned since the Bike would be imported here and not made, was worried if people would sell it as new after some changes.

                Latest update from Pune:
                • Bike delivery will start by September end.
                • Special training for R3 has started and it's around 10 days of training initially.
                • Bike's parts for training only reached to the showrooms, no bike has reached yet.
                • Display bike will be available by 10th of next month.

                  training already completed for few mechanics before launch.

                  one of them even said the bike quality is very good , and its just CC of R1 with only 2 cylinders.
                  at the end of session few took ride and one of them touched 191kmph on speedo

                    191KMPH and I saw it is doing max only 170 at 11K RPM on BIC on the launch day. 'Only' is not appropriate though

                            Already Completed training in Banglore for Andhrapradesh and Telangana state mechanics last week 23rd to 29th yamaha Mechanic who went to training told me that the Bike is excellent and the quality is topnotch

                                Yamaha Launching new R-15

                                Yamaha is launching new R-15 with code BB71,Most probably the new R-15 is a single seater with some design changes.Images will be out in a day or two with supply already starting from tomorrow.The current version will also continue. Also the current colous of FZ-S FI V.2 are replaced by new colours.This is confirmed news.

                                Regarding R-3,most of the dealers have completed their trainings & whatever other norms were required like seperate Display area with two R-15's for display both new & current version, seperate service ramp, special tools etc supply to those dealers will start this week only.Rest who all dealers who have been selected as R-3 dealers who have not completed the required things to be done,wont be supplied vehicle untill they complete criteria's.
