Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Launched Globally: xBhp News
Just went and saw the bike at Adchini showroom. First impressions:
Riding position is bit cbr 250r than r15.
Quality is good. A few parts feel cheap. The brake pedal for instance.
Revs quite cleanly. Redlined at 12500 rpm.
You sit in, rather than sit on it. That said the sitting position felt comfortable. The knees tuck in nice. And pegs are a bit rear set.
The finish of paint was better on z250. Not bad by any shred of imagination. But not other worldly also.
The seat is softly padded.
No grab rails.
The seat also has decent space to move around.
First service at 1000kms. And no rising above 7000 rpm for first 1000 kms. And not above 8400 for the first 1600 kms.
Test ride in the coming weeks. Two weeks at the latest.
Availability soon after.
Blue is good. But red should have been available.
That's mostly all.

Re: Yamaha Launching new R-15
There was a post from someone couple of weeks before the R3 launch about the R15 import from Japan. Should be a a new R15 lined up for festival season.Originally posted by yamaha4ever View PostYamaha is launching new R-15 with code BB71,Most probably the new R-15 is a single seater with some design changes.Images will be out in a day or two with supply already starting from tomorrow. The current version will also continue. Also the current colous of FZ-S FI V.2 are replaced by new colours. This is confirmed news.
Regarding R-3,most of the dealers have completed their trainings & whatever other norms were required like seperate Display area with two R-15's for display both new & current version, seperate service ramp, special tools etc supply to those dealers will start this week only.Rest who all dealers who have been selected as R-3 dealers who have not completed the required things to be done, wont be supplied vehicle untill they complete criteria's.

However when searched for BB71 with Yamaha, I found this
Looks like YAMAHA Xp500 is registered as MV-BB-71, not sure if I am right.Last edited by imrandkhan; 09-02-2015, 02:29 PM.I believe I can fly...
