I don't know about the older models but the 2016 is indeed Bada$$ when it comes to mileage.I get an average of 35-38 shifting gears at 5000 rpm and sometimes shifting at 8000rpm. [MENTION=67734]Valkyire[/MENTION] don't get me wrong but I am not comparing the two.there ain't any 200 cc bike on the market that you can compare .For me VFM is the money spent in a product Which makes you feel the money worth spending on it.but I must agree the d200 (2016) models are extremely refined and there ain't any significant issues.also it does comes with the latest shocks etc like wp steel braided brakes,but if one doesn't want it then definitely no point buying a Duke 200.

Here is a pic of the mileage.most of the time I see 42-43 on the console.and the console is accurate to a certain extent .I was cruising at speeds of 60-65 with little traffic (Bangalore)

If RTR costs at 1.3(TN)and may be 10-15k more in Bangalore thanks to the tax, then major buyers will be shifting towards D200 with closed eyes.
yesterday enquired in TVS showroom bangalore(solar motors) doesn't have any clue about the top end release time.
TVS is bad in marketing launched the bike in Jan, still after 3 months no proper information about the bike to dealers what the hell they are doing with the bike

In Mysore Road it is a new showroom and they might have opened on March 1st week I believe.

Afaik it'll around 1.27~ approx. And no, customers will not. Tvs may have bad marketing but remember their reach is way way more than ktm will ever have.
Also, no they'll not go for three D200 if you are thinking at a price point. 1.7L and 1.27 are very different price points and they don't even come close. The price difference is almost 30% and that's a huge margin thinking you lose safety features like ABS and even higher quality Pirelli.

Fi and ABS version will take approximately 6 months is what I was told at Tristar TVS bangalore. Only the carburetted version with Remora and Pirelli's available as of now, and the deliveries start by the end of April.
