70 is ex delhi!what is ex home ground??(read pune)

cause here our municipal party drools on octroi.and it means bringing from chakan inside city puts octroi.ill go to chakan and bring the bike myself..many people do stuff to evade this.(read imported things,or anything rather).

cause of octroi hell everything is high in pune.comp parts,cars bikes,perfumes,what not.

but still i love pune.

This thread has been re-opened. There are many, including me who would like to discuss more about this 'new' 2009 Pulsar 220, but because of a few miscreants, the thread has turned into 'brand war' and nothing else.

This post should serve as a warning to all those who log in just to create problems. Let this thread be a place where we can share and gather more information about this new bike, and nothing more or less.

The first instance of a brand war that I see/ smell in this thread, the member who posts such stuff will be given a ban.

So guys, has anyone figured out what the odd sticker on the fairing actually is?
And Ive been thinking all this while that why has Bajaj not discontinued the Fi model .Would someone still buy a similar tech spec bike for 15k more just for Fuel Injection?
And if the bike is available on other showrooms as well then what is the Probiking concept all about now?

I went and did advanced book for the bike in Khivraj Bangalore(Kasturba road). No information on when the bike is going to come to Bangalore. The guy said maybe a week for the Information to come (not the bike ) maybe 2 weeks for the bike to come after that!

No info on the price in bangalore as well.

On the pricing front it is priced around Rs700 less than Karizma in Delhi while around 3k in Mumbai.Let's see what's in store for other cities.

@Augusta: True. Even I thought who would buy the Fi 220 with more or less the same specifications for about Rs.15,000/- more, but according to Mr. Bajaj (at the official launch yesterday), the P220 DTS-Fi would be made available for a very few people who DO look forward to getting an Fi vehicle.

I still haven't really understood why ?

Anyways, I read somewhere that if one intends to buy the black colour, he can even get black clip-ons and black grab rails.Is this true?
