  • I should have probably added a few smileys above. I just read my post and it sounds really serious.
Mumbai Roads = (NO parking + Pay and Parks) - (really really bad roads with pot holes)

The road tax I pay funds the people who tow away my vehicle, the money I pay the RTO to release my vehicle funds new no-parking boards!!!!

Some body needs to be terminated!!!!!!

May be its just me or the industry im working in. My colleagues in the UK earn around 60K and those in the US earn 90K annually (And we are way way down the chain). Our colleagues in switzerland tower much above US and UK in terms of salary. (none of them have bikes btw)
I think we are going OT here, but i like the idea of coming to UK and owning a gallardo
lets get back to the NInja
        cheers

The 2010 FI bike costs 3999 Sterling Pounds in the United Kingdom.
                  3999 * 75.9 = 303600
I am baffled why I paid only 296000
In USA, it's again $3999 MRSP (normally actual cost would be 10% lower than that MSRP) so it works out to Rs. 1,60,000 only, so calculate how much you paid more in India ?? baffled again ??

As sukanth mentioned, Bajaj could have reduced the price !!

Ride often, ride well, have fun.

It isnt an excuse but bout the year you mentioned I spent almost 2/3rd of it travelling and rest in office. I am trying hard to catch up.

                              Really now...carb != FI.

I was baffled due to the fact that we are sourcing the bike cheaper than some european nations and that I say is a bloody well played game !

I get your point though as even an FI would be cheaper in US but since everything that has wheels is cheaper in USA that the rest of the world and since SBKs cost like a fortune in India comparing the prices in India to those in USA is like..........

Now bajaj cant reduce the price cause the bikes r cheaper in USA. I mean cmon...they will be diggin their own grave for their upcoming bikes and the 220. I can actually tell you what margins bajaj is having for every Ninja they sell(calculation of which is very easy too) and I can tell you that there are standing instructions to some PBKs to convert Ninja customers to 220..but that would be spilling too many beans and the post then stands to get deleted by some mod.

My 2 cents for whatever they are worth !

when i ride bullet before my bullet was solid condition but i once race with a Ceilo car and my engine size. mechancic say bullet is good bike but no racing. it is good for three people and very powerful.
one day when i become rich i but ducati and then I race with cars. not now.

IF you're at all going to be a respectable rider one day, leave your pride at the "door."
