but the pro-biking guy in gurgaon told me that there won't be any finance option to start with. they might introduce it later, and I can't wait any longer. I have already sold my bike!!!!!Originally posted by Aryan View PostI am pretty sure Bajaj will be providing finance options, like they do in all their other products.

1:1 ? Then I get a Ninja for free later this week....thanks man!!Originally posted by BANDHAV View PostRead this carefully, and i am pretty serious about it.
If Ninja is priced anything below 2.5 lacs, everysingle soul who is speculating/expecting a lower price is entitled to get a Ninja from my side and mind it am talkin about a 1:1 scale.Period.

I dont know why some members think people would not opt for this bike if it is priced on the higher side .
There are people who are so mad about their bike looking good that they spend some 30-50k for just decent cosmetic mods . If its high quality then its more. And we do not have shortage of rich posers around .
Even when there were very bad times due to recession and even now when its not over , the no of people buying vehicles have only increased in India.
That's why even Harley was desperate to come here and it did . Negotiation talks still going on between the governments .
There are people who just spend for no , no passion for the bike whatsoever .
So in my opinion , whatever price the ninja will survive here .
People talked the same way bout the R15 , one lakh ka bike hain saar , itna mehenga bike nahi chalega idhar ,usse acha toh nano le lo
.

Not 100% sure, but it seems logical, purely from a business/brand perspective. (I have talked about the reasons before). The CKD model also seems to make that low price possible, since of the lower source costs for CKD components vs. a CBU. And of course, due to lower duties due to the India-Thai FTA.Originally posted by dushyant View Posthow can u be so sure that it will be below 2.5????
Having said that, Bajaj could still go ahead and change their mind at the last moment, tearing all my high-funda theories to shreds. Not to mention, missing my shot at a free 1:1 scale model from Bandhav

you have yet to understand people buddy. there are some who just complain about what other people want to do or are doing. how does it matter to you if somebody buys it in cash or somebody takes a loan?? however, there's a difference between a show guy who just wants to show off and another guy who has a passion for such machines. So please stop commenting whether who wants a loan and who is crying about the price etc.Originally posted by outworldly maniac View PostI dont know why some members think people would not opt for this bike if it is priced on the higher side .

@outwardlymaniac
Dude you make no sense...there is a biker on this forum who almost emptied his account to get his "The One"...is he a poser as well?...while I agree with you that there are a number of posers out there...lets not generalise...its just ridiculous...
Now on the ninja...went to the PBK showroom in Pune...the bloody bike was not there...rubbish luck man...the guy at the had absolutely no idea or he just did not want to divulge any information....Phoenixflight.

@bluevolt: you should be least concerned about that and even i am not worried about it.
I think its getting boring now. So lets end it here. FYI: The very first Ninja has already been billed to delhi dealer and even the dealer price is way above your expectation, and i am not even talking about ex showroom or on road price.
PS: And if you dont know it already my Employer's name is "BAJAJ AUTO LTD".

Ninja 250 (the Fi version) in India for less than 2.5? Are we dreaming. In Australia Kawasaki are selling the carb version for around 7500 AUD, thats 3 Lacs if you take the current AUD rate and 2.62 Lacs even if you take 1 AUD = 35 INR, which was a long time ago.
And with all the taxes and hassles in India? 2.5 Lacs?
All of you please do some research, think and then post.

Hey mates I did not mean to point out at all those who empty their accounts for their passion man . You took me wrong .
I meant only for posers and people who just believe in showing off
and have no passion whatsoever for what they are spending for .
You both generalized it fellas .
Anyways coz u felt it offensive which was not meant , I ll edit my post.

Thank you adding some clarity Sunny and Bandhav. The speculation may rest now. I am sure Bajaj has tried their best.
Part of the low price expectation is fuelled by Bajaj themselves and part of it lies in the ignorant mindset of our junta. But this isn't a time to debate that. Let the good times roll
Each small step is a step towards the bigger picture of a fulfilling biking scene in India.
The Ninja is one such step.
