Each small step is a step towards the bigger picture of a fulfilling biking scene in India. The Ninja is one such step.

Hey mates I did not mean to point out at all those who empty their accounts for their passion man . You took me wrong .
I meant only for posers and people who just believe in showing off
and have no passion whatsoever for what they are spending for .
You both generalized it fellas .

Well atleast ninja will provide a clear picture to the Companies whether there is scope for high end bikes here or not . If Ninja gets a good response ,
I am sure all will open up and soon .

          • Yes, just two more days... I will stop all the pricing talk and start checking out after market mods for the Ninja 250R. Here's a CF rear hugger - looks swell!

            And with a Yoshimura clip-on:

But dude, do u get them in india ??

              Comment

              • No, I will get them from Japan... my folks stay in Tokyo. A-Tech, which makes the huggers, is a Japanese company. And so is Yoshimura. Japan is an after market mod heaven for bikes 400cc and below. The exchange rate (Yen to rupee) has gone haywire in the past couple of years, but it will still be much cheaper than buying them from anywhere else in the world.

I think its getting boring now. So lets end it here. FYI: The very first Ninja has already been billed to delhi dealer and even the dealer price is way above your expectation, and i am not even talking about ex showroom or on road price.

PS: And if you dont know it already my Employer's name is "BAJAJ AUTO LTD".
                    Hi Bandhav,

In that case please let us know the pricing in case you know (you surely do) the amount at which it is billed to the dealer.

Obviously, he can't tell you. He's employed by Bajaj and thus he's bound to keep such things secret. Be glad he's even giving out as much info as he does.

As Bandhav has quoted, even expecting it below or upto 2.5 is impractically optimistic.
My opinion is that the bike is great but if it is charged with over 3 lakhs, then no 250cc machine can ever be worth more than 3 lakhs as we are ending up paying money to the govt and not the parts of the machine.
