    Just wondering whether the models specified will be sold as in the other parts of world or some tweaking will be done.

    If they price at 5-6 lacs still wondering how many people in india will buy it.

    As pointed out by Kenda i feel strongly the ER-6n will be a bigger success as its the perfect bike designed for touring and it seems completely practical to me.

            Guys, the voting so far shows, that in either one option, people voted for:

            ZX 6R: 112 times (my vote)

            650R : 104 times (my vote)

            Duke : 88 times

            ER 6f : 44 times

            Most Voted Combo is Ninja 650R & ZX 6R (again, my choices)...

              Guys, the same news in detail. They at Bike India "feel" that India Kawasaki will launch Ninja 650R and then Z750...

              I admit that Z750 is a damn good choice...
              But its more important that the news should actually happen, and not just remain someone's feeling...

                To me this makes no sense - why don't the manufacturers introduce their dual purpose bikes in India. I guess we have a lot of people who love touring on their bikes, so please dear manufacturers get us a great practical tourer like a KLR650R. Pls Pls Pls

                    The 650R has a great riding position - no clip-ons either and a long, single seat which is much more comfortable than the 250R.

                    Should be great for touring! And has that sport bike look too - but on the flip side, the exhaust sounds most hideous.

                      After having ridden the 650R, please, please understand that 650R is a commuter bike. It looks good on paper and is visually appealing but for riding pleasure, look somewhere else.

                      It has no clip-ons, 2 cylinder engine, single seat with grab rails for pillion, has only 72 ps ( 250R has 33 ps), sounds like a cross between 250R and a bullet. Believe me Rahul, you wouldn't buy it even at 3.00 Lakhs.

                          Ofcourse i've never ridden the 650R.
                          But, I can't understand why you are judging it on the basis of it not having a clip-on, having a two cylinder engine,having a Single seat ( WTF, hell even the blackbird had single seats ) and having ONLY 72 ps (:0)

                          The bike's riding position and horsepower looks like awesome fun to me especially in the Indian context.

                            Guys, KLR's more of an off roader.
                            When you brake, the front suspension dives 1 feet before front brakes work...

                            And, KLR's looks are not suited to Indian taste...

                            And looks matter! As the voting proves, ER6f got 100+ votes, compared to 40+ for ER6n... The difference? Looks!

                            Remember, Kawasaki will sell stuff that sells! They ain't here for social service...

                              Even I dont understand the logic behind judging a bike's performance only because its not having clip-on, having a two cylinder engine,having a Single seat.. This is ridiculous..

                                Duh! the 650 to me is a GOOD touring package! I will put my money on it! unless there is a KaTooM tempting me in that price bracket!
