Sorry about your bike as well. Yeah, not much can be done in such situations. Anyway, the replacement parts are on order. Bought a pair of foot pegs from some Chinese seller on ebay for 10$. OEM parts cost for just one foot peg was 35$Originally posted by MJ1984 View Post

Stage 2 Mods
Hey guys, here are some updates as promised. I'd like to call them Stage 2 updates. although I am still waiting on one part to arrive.
I was contemplating which slip-on exhaust to get. The usual suspects were Akrapovic, Yoshimura, Leo-Vinci and FMF.
I almost settled for an FMF....it was unique, not many people had it, good reviews and good weight savings as well. But then I found an amazing deal on a pair of Leo Vinci Slip-Ons. Titanium internals and Carbon Fiber sleeve. So here is it is, the LEO VINCI SBK FACTORY EVOII Slip-On System.
Un-boxing
Yummy
Ti Internals
Also installed some Flush Mount Turn Signals and Reservoir Socks. Here are the pictures after the Install.
Rear. With the bulky stock exhaust gone, it looks much cleaner from the rear. Also saved 5 pounds of weight.
Side
Flush Mount Turn Signals by Lockhart Phillips
Reservoir Socks
Marco Simoncelli Decal (R.I.P Super Sic)
Here is what she looks like right now
My personal Fav
It now sounds FREAKING insane and generously LOUD. Truly like a V8. Will upload video next week.
Enjoy and thanks.Last edited by Carlitos; 02-26-2012, 08:08 AM." RIDE In Peace MARCO #58"

@Carlitos : Back with a bang, I must say...
By the way did you consider Racefit and Laser slip ons too? (Just curious as they are quite loud)
And after flames on R6, what are you thinking on the Blue "1" except that Leo Vince stickers?

I live in Arizona, so its riding season all year longOriginally posted by becham_79 View PostAwesome!!!
The exhaust with the tail lights look mean!
Are you riding already? I m jealous if u are
.
Thanks. The Reservoir socks, apart from being a aesthetic touch, actually serve a greater purpose. Brake fluid deteriorates over a period from being exposed to heat and UV rays from the sun. So the sock basically protects that from happening. Lots of racing teams use them as well. Its more or less like a sports sweat band. I was actually using a sweat band until a few weeks ago. Have also installed a Reservoir sock for the rear brake reservoir.Originally posted by Aniket_N View PostSuperb Mods! Carbon Fiber looks best! Do upload the video soon.

Flush mount signals are one of the first mods folks up here do. Those bulky stock ones really mess up the look of a bike.
I did consider the Racefit. Its unique and had made from titanium. its very hard to buy though if you arnt in Europe. Also, I don't think the Racefit design for the R1 flows well with the lines of the bike. All racefit pipes look the same to me. They are probably the loudest though. Their US distributor doesnt stock them any more. You have to special order them, and that makes them more expensive. I liked the look of the Leo, Akra and FMF pipes the most on the R1.Originally posted by prateek2210 View Post@Carlitos : Back with a bang, I must say...

So you keep the reservoir socks on the bike when you are not around?Originally posted by Carlitos View PostThanks. If they were used here they would be gone the very next day
