that was one beautiful review from a person who has ridden the Yammy Baby monster the R6. I loved it and i seriously like the way you compared the Big One with the Baby Six. Great Carlitos, Though you havent told what the reaction was, when the Big One went home, did you take your wife for a spin....

Was a student. Graduate and bought the R6. and 3 years later bought the Big ROriginally posted by tazz View PostHey bro, I have been a silent admirer of your R6 ever since you posted the pics of your yellow R6 for the first time on the forums.
Its sad that you had to sell it. For some reason I always liked the R6 better than R1.
Anyways congrats on your new ride.
[P.S. :- Wife? I always thought that you were a student or something

Thanks. Dude, i so want to. I am just waiting on my ridding buddies to saddle up. One of them got a 1000RR and the other will get a GSXR 1000. So probably next year.Originally posted by AsimB View PostCongratulations on the R1! You should def get it to CA for a ride to the motogp race.
Havent ridden the 1000RR enough to comment on its handling, but the little that i rode, i think its fantastic. Feels small and nimble.Originally posted by Quad Master View PostEnjoyed reading your 1st Encounter ,Ride and Esp the Brownie Points which are added advantages of owning the R1.
Enjoyed the Pics and Video as well and thanks for the Steering Dampner part , i really wanted to know about it.
Have fun riding and telling us more on the unique cross plane i4.
If u have rode the Honda CBR 1000 RR can you describe the difference
in handling of both the bikes at varied speeds and during cornering.
Thanks. Ride safe.Originally posted by crazy_NJ View PostCongartulations Carlitos on your new (The BIG R) acquisition..

Once i fired her up...." Oh my god...that sounds awesome"
She liked the passenger seating a lot after i took her out for a spin.
Although she was concerned about the weight of the bike.
I cant wait dude. already have some basic essential parts on order. Have a whole spreadsheet already prepared about the planned mods. Very exciting just to read through itOriginally posted by busalover42 View PostCarlitos!

The r1 looks beautiful. But its sad to know that you had to sell the LE r6Originally posted by Carlitos View PostNot settling for anything less than what you really want
The r1 does sound like a v-twin at low revs and a proper in line 4 at high revs

Its Super awesome man, the sound while revving is really really intoxicating
.
One doubt, the idling sound seems to be different from the sounds of the previous models of R1 which i have seen in other youtube videos. is it coz of the cross-plane crank shaft addition or just my bad? maybe it sounds noob/silly. sorry.
BTW whose AUDI is it?

Congrats Carlitos on your new toy. Looks beautiful and wish you many many miles of happy riding.
Surprisingly in the idling mode it sounds more like a Ducati engine.

Yup, the 09-11 R1s are cross plane crankshaft engines. They dont sound anything like the previous R1s. Totally different.Originally posted by Binoy View PostIts Super awesome man, the sound while revving is really really intoxicating
