The GT250R for 2012 has a few changes from that
Price wise, It is touted to sell at the price of a Honda CBR250R (Without ABS). This in world market. In India where it is safe to assume the CBR250R is cheaper (as its made in India) I guess a pricing around the CBR with ABS is a sweet spot!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

if the OTR price is less than 2.5L .. that's more than enough for me

Yes, indeed, and the way I highlighted was a affirmation of the craziness going around. That's the reason I highlighted, anyone game?Originally posted by vivek_k_p View Post^^
How trusty the portal is?
It says 300cc Kawasaki Ninja.

The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

-- a general query --
is this the revamped comet 250 released few years back in india ?
Although the bike surely has some sporty and macho looks . Just a casual research says its fuel injected, weighs in 160k and can reach a top speed of 180k !! . So could be a good performance bike for those who are in-between a cbr and ninja in terms of budget.
Also would like to know from you all how good and renowned a company like korean hyosung is compared to a kawasaki or honda ? Do they have any iconic product from their stables. please enlighten us
anyways hoping for a quick launch here in india !!
I prefer riding a slow bike fast rather than a fast bike slow !!

After enquiring the about the Comet 250GT (and not GTR) it was said at the pune hyosung showroom that the price is 2.70L there. Now that is expensive considering it fills the gap between CBR and NINJA. The price in Mumbai is something to ponder about !!

Apart from a few cosmetic changes and the new added fairing, the bike pretty much remains the same. And most of the chaps here, pray to god the 2012 is a fuel injected one, and not carburetted for the Indian market for cost cutting initiatives.Originally posted by moto_enthu View Postis this the revamped comet 250 released few years back in india ?

Hyosung is Korean and it's not a wise decision to compare Hyosung to Kawasaki or Honda. Yes I'm not a big fan, except for the 250r but then, it's a budding company and don't expect Honda's refinement and Kawa's reliability. It's somewhere in the middle, it gives what you want, and in the end of the day, it's what gives you that BIG WIDE SMILE right and Hyosung just exactly delivers that.
So yes, in that case, you can summate your assumption.
Cheers!

Twin tubular frame is only for 650's and for 250's all over the world hyosung used Twin spar frame [as seen in the pic] which is quite adequate and it is better handler than Ninja [according to MCN review]Originally posted by vivek_k_p View PostNagoo,
