on these types of batteries there isn't any liquid in them at all. its all agm. absorbed glass matt. but by adding a bit of distilled water and Epsom salt it...

Think what you did in this link...but typically when this battery type is purchased you get a battery and a set of bottles filled with electrolytes. They are filled into the battery and its ready to use within 15 min no need to charge it.

It has been 5-6 days , battery is able to start bike even in 5*c morning, but it does look like taking lot of trouble doing so. Starter would engage, rotate the crank painfully slow for first half a rev or so (geting done with compression stroke) and then will gain speed and fire up. In the day time once the bike is ridden for some time , it starts just fine.
but at the same time , if you happne to use the starter 3/4 times at short interval , like switching off on traffic lights etc , it fails after about 3 times.

Looks like sooner or later I will have to get a New unit.

SO had to modify the stock battery carrier ( Plastic tray ) to make some additional room within the compartment.
I cut off few of the edges and ground down a few things.

          ANd Guess what.
Bike still only cranks about a total of 3 times if done within small interval. ( without providing recharging time). I guess my stock battery is all good still , it is also able to crank about same number of times. Just that engine is fairly new and higher compression and it is draining too much juice out of battery in each start.
I have planned to carry on till I do few thousant miles and see if the engine eases and cranking gets better. Else I will have to put both battries in parallel.
Strangly the Other bike I did has no problem whatsoever and I did ask the Owner and he said every thing was fine and green.

People at Studds designed this box for right side only.
So had to put right side box on left side aswell , which essentially spoils the symmetry in looks.
Also its not direct fit on 883.
Had to make some mods on both boxes , more radical on right side.
Build quality is below average , with very flimsy plastic used and ordinary adhesive chrome look tape used at places.
I do not see them ageing well with the bike. At 800/ a box , if they see through a year I will not ask for more.

That is a pretty cost effective storage space for your 'Hammerised Sporty'; 800/- per box is cheap. Should server you well on those longish trips, Nice work!
