Thanks Mr.Boss for the reply, will try to connect it tomorrow and share the result here [emoji4]

As told by Mr.Boss, remove the extra connector from the P43T bulb holder and then connect the new headlight set up in stock dome. All things went well and light intensity is pretty much powerful than before. Extremely happy with the conversion but at the same time worried about the alternator also as 60/55W is surely putting a lots of load on it.

Removed the additional connector from the P43T holder and also conneted some copper adapters in the wires of the holder(
so that I don't have to do any cutting or modification in the stock wiring of the bike)

All the work is done, now I have to just plug these adapters in the stock wiring and bolt the reflector unit in the dome

And here is the final outcome of all the labour and hard-work. I was so much excited and happy with the result that immediately I took her for a ride and comes back after 30-35min with a big grin on my face. Also found my parents standing in front of the house gate with worried face, because in excitement I just left off without saying them anything

Nice work bro.....but what changes have you made to the stator in order to power a 55/60 W bulb??

Currently nothing. Stator coils were winded some 12 years ago by some local mechanic to charge the 12V battery.
Was unsure about using the 55/60W bulb initially, so before buying one I removed one from my car and checked it by just connecting it roughly by some spare wires(without reflector). Liked the light output so start searching for the reflector mentioned in this forum and after getting it, everything was just DIY. And with the reflector the light output was just awesome [emoji4]

Ok....because AFAIK Rx stator only powers a 35/35W bulb....even if we convert the bike to full DC...
I was running this setup on my Rx before the restoration......I too have a new stator+coils just lying around...
Was thinking about changing the reflector and converting the bike to full DC.....

I was also using the halonix 35/35W halogen bulb for the past 10 years. But whenever I was riding with my friends in the night time , my bike's light was not even visible beside their bike's light [emoji35]

If you are going for a full DC setup then you surely need a bigger battery (9amp one) which doesn't fit in the stock battery place. So which one is going out from the bike - 2T oil tank or air filter box?? [emoji12]

Also would like to suggest that before doing anything, check it first by yourself, than do the necessary mods. I wouldn't go for the 55/60W bulb if I hadn't liked the light output when I roughly connect the bulb. [emoji4]

jatinarya , I don't think by just changing bulbs and reflectors might have given world difference.
Whatever the stator coil produces is being regulated at RR unit. Naturally, only the same amount of current is sent to power headlight. The best set up will be where you are able achieve the 55w power at 2-2.5k RPM. Unless your stator plate lighting coil is rewound or RDD lighting set up, it is not possible.

Well I did mentioned it in my posts that coils were rewinded by some local mechanic of my city some 12 years ago in 2003. I didn't know exactly what was done and how it was done because I was just 14 years old at that time.
Also I am assuming that it was rewinded because after checking on a multimeter I am getting 8-10V on idle and 13-17V in 2.5-3k rpm(on battery terminals).

1992 RX100, everything is stock. Thinking to replace the handle bar with Splendor Classic Pro's. Will it be a good idea? :what: Can't decide by myself as the spare part is currently not available in my city. Please share your valuable views.

It would look good may be, but it would definitely compromise on comfort and stance of the bike.

Used a similar one in past and it wasn't comfortable as the OE handlebar or the other alternatives available.

Rectifier can hold this much power. I am using a rewound coil and 60/55 halonix on autopal reflector since 9 years. Till now no issues. So chill. Enjoy the ride.

Thanks vimalnair4u for sharing your experience, now I am more confident about using the 55/60W bulb.

Loved your led taillight conversion and planning to do the same (on my own) [emoji4]

I recently purchased a used RX100 cylinder kit with mahle piston, but without any marking on the piston top regarding the size. Any method to figure out the size? (other than physical measurement)

take it to reboring shop , they will tell you what size it is (by inserting the oversized pistons they have with them)
