    1. My question is what is the cost in second hand market for the bike ?
    2. What all do i need to do to restore it ?
    3. Are parts available for Rx 100 ?
4 . How much maintenance it requires ?
    5. Can i do it myself ?
    6. Finally, how much will it cost me ?

go ahead and buy one. the second hand price varies city to city. just look for a bike that is working well with the help of a mechanic who knows Yamaha rx series.
make sure the bike has clear papers. rest you can get almost everything with patience. maintenance is almost zero, ive owned one for last 17 years barely ever went to repair.
Cost depends on where you live

does anyone know which is the best upgrade for the front forks, swingarm with mono suspension and maybe an enduro body kit?(cheap and best which is available in our country)
if u have any photos for reference then it would be cool

Buy an old impulse and cannibalise the parts you need. Other options are all costly. Also if you want ko keep it roadworthy stay away from it if the papers are not clear.

            1) Couldn't conclude without understanding in detail (works carried on crack assembly, clutch, etc)
            2) Should be wear & tear or crack in center case around the kicker shaft. Either try Aluminium welding or replace
            3) Replace float & gasket
            4) Running on autolube? If so, mechanic must have calibrated excess oil flow for a new / rebored cylinder.

              ]Hi.
I am having a doubt on setting the height of carburetor float in my rx135.
And it is emitting a lots of smoke in the beginning. It is running is std size bore.
With new crank seals and bearing.
Can anyone help me in setting up the carb. The float height and the a/f mixture.
              Thanks.

              • Yamaha RX135 starting problem

My Yamaha RX135 is having starting issue. It won't start most of the time and I have to take it to mechanic. I'm not much aware about 2s and my mechanic told me that the carb was of RX100.

Also, the bike is not a smooth ride. It smokes a lot ( when I give accelerator). Please help me locate the problems with my bike. I'm from varanasi in uttar pradesh and don't find a mechanic of 2s here.

Please send a picture of your carburettor to determine if it's of 100 or 135. For smoking and starting issue, I think you have too much 2t flowing in to the carburettor. Check and if necessary replace your spark plug as well.

See the button on the left of the smily, that's the add picture button.

My RX100 is in for a major overhaul except for the engine. Can I change the gearbox to a 5 speed one without any other changes like sprocket change or compression change? What will be the change in riding behaviour of the steed post this change ?

You can. You would need a whole GB assembly. The gears, the shafts, the forks and the gear drum. The first 3 gears are same for 4sp n 5sp. You don't need anything else. For a bit smoother ride, I suggest a rx135 carb and powerbox.

                                I
Today I tried starting the bike, kicked 200 times and I won't start. Asked my brother to push the bike while I put it in gear. It started after 4-5 attempt by pushing the bike and I engaged the head. Once it start then there is no issue. For excessive smoke, I measured 40 ml of 2T oil for 2 ltr petrol and it's better now.
