But isn't it made by Yamaha directly. I'm seeing it packed in Yamaha's packaging with part numbers.

I was only able to procure these pics from the person in the service center. But the assembly with 6 gear wheels was the conversion kit.

                  Hi guys,

I need some help with acceleration lag in my rxz. The bike pulls effortlessly in 1st gear.but 2nd through 4th gear, It pulls till 2-2.5k RPM and drops and lags till around 5-5.5k RPM and pulls strong again.I believe its due to wrong tuning of the carb. If yes, please give some pointers on tuning it right. If not, what else do i check for ? The mechanic seems happy with it and gave it back in the same state, so I'm trying to fix it on my own.Its like a turbo kicking in after lag.
DON'T ARGUE WITH AN 6 WHEELER.

Looks like a wrongly tuned carb, but do check the starter coil first, sometimes lag also occurs when current is not passing to the spark plug correctly.
To check the starter coil first remove the cap attached to the spark plug and unscrew that cap from the wire, hold the end of the wire 5mm away from the sparkplug end, asked someone to kickstart the bike , do not move the wire and revs slowly and observe the current flow while revs!!!

Thanks, Kb100. I just bought the bike,I don't know if it was kept idle.It started on the first kick and still does.It is well maintained as it was with a mechanic, but i don't know if he was riding it regularly.

Get Cyclo carb clear spray ,lightly spray in all orifices and jets. keep for some time, and follow the same once more. make sure you keep the carburetor away from your face to avoid any splash in eyes..

dismantle the carbs down to their individual parts and clean them thoroughly, especially the needle jet (emulsiontube) and the air jet , like satishg mentioned use plenty of carb cleaner ,use them to flush out the tiny passages in the carb body , if you cant find carb cleaner use wd40 , in all probablity your air jet and emulsion tube is clogged up
