Here are the Scans of Maintenance done which i wrote in a Dairy, the FIRST 5 PAGES OF THE DAIRY ARE COPIED FROM ANOTHER BOOK AND NOT ACCORDING TO THE POCKET DAIRY DATES. However, from 05-04 1991 the year is correct and dates written by me. i'm posting the first 4 pages now.(total 20 pages).
thats a neat way of maintaining/remembering what have been done in the bike sir!! i am going to follow it in future!!

...hmmm, just over 2 years to reach 22 k, it could have been crossed around 30 k in two years, but the bike was kept idle for a few moths during monsoon/winter of 1988, that story will be coming soon.
yea, it saw a lot of Tarmac and lot of beating from me, but all the time it literally Begged to be opened-up & took all my beating with pleasure (it enjoyed the Pain )

      Here are another 2 pages.
NOTE:Marked in Yellow Fitted a home made Resonator, Took an empty Aerosol can, drilled a half Inch hole on the top, drilled another hole on the intake manifold before the reed valve, fitted a rubber pipe in between and glued both ends with Araldite. I have seen an article in an Auto magazine (Car & Bike International) and did it. So the low & mid range improved and the Power-band kicked in a bit early (not sure whether the performance is upped by this mod or i felt it so) The RX series IIRC didn't come with a factory fitted Resonator then.

What does it look like now? Do you still have this bike? Is that story still coming up?

Sorry for the 20 questions...really excited!

And you are most welcome to shoot me with questions

Note the bike's front fender, its made in Fiberglass, i purchased it from Madras ( now Chennai)

@ Rosh & dafc, as an old timer, back in the day, if i remember correctly, the factory team of Escorts-Yamaha, took part in 50 % of the events (Track & Motocross) and the rest are privateers participating with their own money and a little sponsorship from small companies /individuals. but the Ind/TVS Suzuki's always took part not only at Sholavaram but any other race/motocross/National event through the Factory teams only. imagine a Factory backed team biting dust behind RX-100's in the hands of Privateers

Here i should mention about the twin brothers, the Legends, Rajkumar & Rajendra who used to Rip the RX & RD's both backed by Team TanTex on the Sholavaram track for over 5 years, we are very fortunate to have non other than the legendary Rajkumar here in Xbhp, both the brothers are 2T tuners & racers as well. i had the privilege of racing with them on the same track same year -1989 ( not in Group-B, but i'm racing in the Group-D novice class) on the same day, same track.

This is the link for one of his posts in Feb 2009 and a testimony about how the RX & RD used to perform in their hands.

Here are some pics i saved all these years (first time posting on the internet)

Frank Sir, speaking of Rajendra bros i wish to post a pic of M.R.Rajendra on the tracks in 1993.

                    @Frank Sir,
I am delighted to see this thread! RX 100 has always been my first crush
Its got both 'show' and 'go'. I am waiting to know horsepower details about this?
And why/how can this bike overtake a 200cc pulsar in a 200mtr uninitiated drag on an empty road?
I was speechless as it overtook the 200 after a 50mtr close competition, i was riding pillion on the 200.
If there something i bow head to among the 2-wheelers Yamaha RX100 would be in the list
                    game for anything on wheels

Ok this is from my side its taken when the twins were locked in a battle throughout the race and finished 1-2 in a Photo finish! Both riding highly modified RD-350s (IIRC its Group-B modified class) see the distance between two bikes.

The RX motor delivers 11 bhp @ 7500 rpm (at the crank) but it not the bhp in this kind of situation, there is an amazing thing called POWER BAND in two strokes, which kicks in around 4000 rpm (in RX-100 case) and stays up almost upto 6000 rpm, within this 2000 rpm (4 to 6K) the RX behaves like a Sukhoi-30 jet fighter, no bike can keep up with it, especially at Traffic signal Drag races, that's why the P-200 couldn't keep up with it.

                        Awe-inspiring write up sir!
You reminded me the days when i used to ride (read race) a friend's RX.
We used to compare our acceleration timings..
And the joy it gives.. Its exhaust note.. That small wheelies with every upshifts (till 3rd).
It plasters a huge smile on face for the day long.
What i didnt like was shaking limbs, sweaty hands, heart at mouth feeling just after the ride. But that's what a legend does to an under experienced rider.. Right!!?

Have done this a 1000 times probably by now. Blown P200s, ZMAs, RTRs not just for 200mts, but for more in Kms & Kms.

RX100 is a very good bike, but wait till you ride a modified 135 5-speed, your perception on 2-stroke air-cooled single cylinder will change forever!!!

Its high time you get yourself an RX.
