Wow ... did not know so much was on in 1993!!!Originally posted by frankpilli View PostBut this KRP Kit from 1993 is absolutely functional with Under-seat MX expansion chamber, extended rear shocks, MX body panels and fenders.
Of course, was only 13 yrs old then ...
My impression was that the modding and performance bug only bit in the last couple of years ..
Looks like there were a hell lot of rubbah burnin' torque daddies back then!!!

Absolutely correct, it was shelved some 20 years ago, and when i took it out to scan, its like a brand new dial, like it could be fitted now. really amazing Japanese workmanship.Originally posted by vijaymeyou View PostGreat Keeping Frank.

These bulbs are original ones which came with the bike (tail lamp & speedo bulb) not sure whether they are Stanley Japan or Indian made, the air pressure Gauge (Yenkay, gifted by the tyre dealer) & the un-used spare key.

The RX goes to Race at Sholavaram, Madras (Chennai)
During the winter of 1988, after licking my wounds for 2 months and recovered fully, I started to think what if I take part in the Annual Mecca for racers - none other than the 32nd All India Motor race meet (Mc Dowell Grand Prix) at the Sholavaram Airstrip, Madras (now Chennai). Haling from a highly orthodox family & met with a near death accident a few months ago, if my family comes to know my plans to race at Sholavaram, my Dad will simply chain me and lock-up
