          • After as awesomely long slumber, I'm back

wasnt too far away just have been disappointed with my rebuild, engine related issues ( maybe im straining my ears too much to find a fault) it all starts with th fact that i still cant find the resonator pipe for the lin (PLZ SOME HELP HERE) hence made a metal cap for the manifold, to a great amount of my surprise THE WAS A MASSIVE CHANGE IN PERFORMANCE WHEN I GOT OFF THE MAKESHIFT RESONAOR PIPE+BOX, The bike ran leaner, so got the makeshift set up back, As i was saying i detect a major problem with the carb.

Fast forward to day before and she refuses to start. At the most she flutters to life and dies down in a second. I squarely blame my mech for this shoddy rebuild. Most of it he did infront of me but then what went wrong? im clueless and massively dissappointed. . .

well then you have to do some jugaad to fit the pipe to the existing pipe or fabricate a box that fits in the rx pipe an measures close to 300cc.

ohh did buy an oversize (toppro) from atul when i was down last in mumbai. but i dint want to go for a rebore coz i wanted to keep the engine running stock.

A metal resonator box. ..hmmmmmm. . . .had spoken about this to a couple of ppl about this, noticed and they tol me too that the resonator sits just 2milimeters of the head and hence is subjected to high temperatures, so the metal box wud heat alot (atleast alot more than the plastic one, i cud b wrong) i thnk in the RX the box is conceled in the tank in the shogun shaolin its outside

                            • rx has the box below the tank separately. metal box can be covered with some anti heat element although its not usually required.. u can make it sit above the head too. did u see RD boost bottles? theyre made of metal! how ur present tube condition? check for air leaks, spark n the bike shud start even with a local piston.

                              • hhmmm..am no expert but a long time ago my samurai had the same issues
and the main culprit was the 'engine oil seal' near the magneto.

remove the left engine cover and remove the magneto you should be able to see a black oil seal its like a pressure cooker rubber you know stops the pressure from leaking from the chamber.

                                hope this helps.
