    Update:-

As you would have seen not much activity on this thread from was due to
New year sale ripped off my budget kept for restoration this month. So my initial plan of restoring the bike has been temporarily postponed to February owing to cash crunch. Just priortized family need!
No regrets, also this would give time to find out good painter for the job to be carried out.

'OMESH' is the manufacturer of the crash guard fitted in my bike. Quality of their products / plating is super fine.
Check, if those springs can be replaced to get the look of genuine long carrier .

                  my suggestion on Rims

please try to source OE or mandap Rims. stick to OE parts to get an awesome brand new Rx100 look. since HH Rims will have stamping of their brand name.

Good going Sriram, also have given the Fuel Filter Clamps for fabrication, will get it in hands in a day or two, if you need the Original ones you can keep that, i'll keep the Fabricated ones, but I bet the ones that i fabricate will be of higher quality than the OE ones.

+100..! Also get the OE Spokes from Yamaha, the ones from the HH will have a Bluish Shine & the Yammie's will have a Golden Shine..! I prefer the later one though..

I'm confused when it comes to Rims. I've seen HH rims, they are slightly heavy. Also, these days I don't get Mandap from Yamaha dealers. They now supply rims manufactured by Sandhar or something like that.

I don't know about HH rims comes these days. You're right the current rim on the bike has HH stamp seen clearly.

As I said above, I don't know how HH rims comes these days. The one on the bike has 'HERO HONDA' stamp.

Oh thats wonderful. Thanks Ram for the offer, I won't be too choosy here. Finding a suitable itself is not that easy.

Already purchased HH spokes of rear wheel's. The reason is not for the shine but for better built quality. My RX135 running on HH spokes and front rim as well.

Getting Mandap is quite a task. Sandhar is what we get from showroom and authorized dealers.

@All:- I'm on the cross roads on the rims. HH or Sandhar, which one?

Thanks Satish. Union Cycle rims are not known in chennai. Yamaha spokes are not available when I inquired last. I've already purchased the spokes of HH. In my opinion, Yamaha rims should be compatible; interchangeably. Correct?

^no HH spokes are not fit for Yamaha rims and vice versa!...I just changed front rim when we went to munnar!! And one more suggestion...I have tried Yamaha rims and HH..for the salty/ humid climate of Chennai Yamaha rims gets rusted way too ahead when compared to HH..so in terms of quality HH is better though Yamaha one's looks very good!!
P.S : whichever you buy just thread/tape the rim and paint it inside so that it don't gets rusted inside.

I think for Yamaha RX 100, HH spokes can be set on Yamaha Rims with some mods and it is recommended. But Yamaha spokes can't be made to fit on HH Rims
