I believe it is 12v. Seriously have not spent much time on the bike as I keep switching to other bikes for commutation.

Rishi - You are right last batch of 100 came with 12v. FYI, most of the members here have read the history of RX at least once. Some can even looking at the spare part number can pin point which RX does it belong to.

I found this in the RX100 which I had bought recently. Has anyone seen such cap before?

I doubt thats an original. Never seen one before on a 100.
It maybe an accessory that was available in Chennai.

Even I have not seen any cap with tuning forks. Also makes me to think, for a duplicate product, would they take pain to emboss the tuning forks on the cap (which costs mere)? Original or duplicate, definitely with Yamaha logo does looks good.

It was not a easy find for me. I search around the city and did not spare even if the spares did not look like two wheeler dealers. While enquiring one particular shop, was offered some alternative like one circular clamp which did not have the angle to bolt on and advised to get it welded. With not much option consoled myself and changed my mind. There was one old man watching me sitting from the desk. He then asked the counter guy to go back and pull the box from the loft. After some dig in, pulled out the fuel clamp and happened to be Yamaha's. I was so happy to see that. Also asked if he could find another one, he said that was the last piece and from order that was atleast 3-4 years back. He said, he stopped ordering since there were no takers after. When I asked will that be available any soon, he closed the conversation (thought atleast I'm lucky to get this) and I returned home.
@All:- I realize how difficult to find OE spares these days. I trully appreciate if anyone is getting on behalf. It is just not easy as it looks. I Thank each and every one who had helped me till date on my requirements. Even if you put a price these spares are hard to come by.
I shall continue to search for RX spares and help our community.

bro got to know bout this logo... its a 'Sona' made product my dealer says Sona company makes yamaha Non OEM parts and use the new logo of yamaha ..if u see the pic of the RXG i uploaded it has a SONA seat has the same logo at the back too..

Update:- I bought Rims today from Authorized HH showroom near home. The rims had Hero Honda stamping on it. It looks robust and chrome finish is good.

Even I have the same kind of rim on my RX. For some reason I do not like the HH stamping, it doesn't contribute to the stock look.

As long as it does good to the bike, it doesn't matter.
