I have heard that rx100 never came with ART pistons, its only mahle. May be the initial batch might have ART japanese one. But the ART pistons which We get now are Taiwan ones. IMO Mahle should do justice to your bike. You are more knowledgeable in this than me.

Yes you are right RX 100's never came with ART pistons they came with Mahle only.

RX 135 only came with ART's

True. There was no ART on RX100 . Mahle is a good choice or good quality TKR . ART other than made in Japan or Thailand is fake.

We are talking about RX100 initial batch i.e even before you were born in this world. If you are not aware of some information or part of it. Please do not post with conviction.

Sri, i meant ART thailand is also genuine as ART has a manuf. unit there too. TKR Japan are good too.. way better than Goetze. If you can find old stock Mahle, buy n keep them . They are good stuff.

No.

You don't get anymore. Might there abroad i.e UK where earlier to our RX100, they had same engine RXS100 (spec matches 99%).

Surprise to me..

I was gather all the spares and noting down the parts while arranging them into boxes. After doing all, found the 5 speed chain sprocket was not found. Looking back there were couple of big boxes filled with RX135 used and new spares. Lost my patience to again dig out. Uff, already sweet words were raining from folks for all the room decoration and decided to buy RX100 chain sprocket kit. Landed up in YASS in about half hour and sprocket kit was readily available. Just about to bill, supervisor remembered my earlier query and asked me 'Sir, do you want RX135 2nd o/s piston kit?, we received it only one piece yesterday'. Bought the RX100 chain sprocket....

Intial batch(85-87) of RX100 came with Y-1, Y-2 bore kits with ART Pistons. G-1,2.. bore kits came with Escorts-Mahle pistons kits and over a period of time Mahle pistons were replaced with Goezte. I'm not sure exactly when Goetze replaced Mahle in the bore kit. However, you get Mahle kits just like Minda/Pricol products even today.

With New RX100 36L00 bore kit, I'm not sure if it is Goezte as I've not seen it.
