Update:-

RX100

2T Oil tank gauge

The restoration is ought to have completed the Sunday. However, just like how it should be 'it did not', as expected!
The parts which is missing seem to be very silly, however, without which it is not complete. Got the whole lot of stuff into this restoration, just few couple of oil seals on to the front hub escaped my attention. Well, I take this opportunity to learn from the mistakes made. Another big blunder I did was to give away the old wheels. Damn! the rear wheel sprocket hub/axel has a collar which I'm missing too. Search continues..

Well, during my search over the weekend, I found this..

RX135 1st O/S Mfg dt 1998.

Sorry Sri, needless to say, I don't have one despite searching them for over 45 minutes

Finally I found that, all I've w.r.t Rx is in that big bag & big bag only

That's ok. I tried giving the best shot. Anyways, I'm going to go around this morning to see my luck.

Lesson learned:- Never throw away any old parts until you finish the restoration. I've told myself this couple of time earlier, still happens!

@Sri: Great going. BTW did you get a standard bore? Have been away for a while and not been able to follow all your posts.

About the missing parts, put up a list and maybe fellow members and me (will surely try) should be able to source the parts.

Got std bore kit, crankshaft assy, clutch bell, bearing etc.

Need of the hour:-

Front wheel - Hub oil seal, Worm gear oil seal (see the pic)
Rear wheel - Collars (there are two collars as seen in the pic)

WoW!!!!! Is that side panel painted or bought new? If it is new then the a fantastic find!!! I didn't know side panels in that colour are available. Any help you can extended in this regard

Can you help me source he 2T gauge? Is it OE? Even if its not I would like to get one.

@ Nitin :- Except for the frame parts nothing is painted. Side shields and fuel tank were bought new. FYI.. Maroon color side shields are available at YASS. If not, just place the order. If the shade is slightly bright blame it on the bright light/exposure of the camera etc. C.Bell has entered the den.

2T oil gauge:- This is 100% OE, I don't think it is available, unless if some old stockist has it lying in his shop basement. Credit goes to JD who sent me this piece last April, preserved for future RX100 and here it goes!

Good going Sriram, that Side door looks smashing. Is this the same gauge that I fixed & sent across or a different one?

Yes. It is the same. Thought it should go to 100 and not 135.

Yeah...that red is mesmerizing my 135 is that colour too and I just love it....it looks like one of God's accessories! Satish isnt your RX this colour too?

I wish that was red, however, it is happen to be Maroon shade. Atleast I know there are two different shades in Maroon when I bought side panels/tank. I chose the lighter shade instead which reflected near red when exposed to bright light due to metallic paint if I'm not wrong. The picture taken without flash (point and shoot camera), exposed lagged a bit to potray a different color than seen with naked eye.

For those who wanted this near red shade, kindly visit the showroom and ask for atleast couple of side panels or the gas tank if happen to be. I'd guess you'll find atleast two shades in the same maroon. This is my personal experience.

mine is maroon, it was red when i got her in 1987

Okay, I got another picture of shade.. Definitely the shade appears different under light.

Sorry could not take the pic of tank as it is yet to be opened from the box.
