Today thought would give myself some time to spend with the spares accumulated over a period of time. Not an easy job atleast for me. It is very very tiresome process segregating and aligning the parts with the respective areas, uff! It took good 2 hours for me organizing them. In meanwhile took this pic.

Later found that I have bought some parts without realizing it is already with me. So that was another process of removing the duplication of spares and keeping them separately. MY back was calling for SOS. Soon arranged them and kept the boxes in place.
If my health is good will handover the parts for painting. Big hope!RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

Interestingly, all those parts just enough to complete ONE. May be few consumables goes into box as back up. The picture is missing some more from other room such as Chrome exhaust assembly, rims, tires, rear grab handle, handle bar, buttefly leg guard etc.Originally posted by asif View PostParts Parts everywhere and not a one to spare. Am jealous of your stock pile.
Sirram: How many bikes do you suggest can be completed with your stock of parts.
No one in my house like me or seeing any red colored boxes. It's a metal agony everytime I go home purchasing parts. I've been isolated and all they want is to move the boxes and couple of frames out of the house. I've requested to bear with me for sometime. I'm not joking but truth.RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

Update: Bore kit:- A long story behind but in short negotiated a brand new G-3 barrel in 2009 packing.
Will post pictures when received.
Can some help me with neutral switch cap (black one)? Even used one would do. I'm only left with an option to steal from other bike in Chennai.

Nice find Sri. The price was nearly 400/- 17 years back! You can use them with even good TKRs if you cant find the Jap. piston.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View PostA big Thanks to Vijay (vijaymeyou) for getting me full rubber kit including head bore rubbers, HTA full oil seal kit and Escorts-Yamaha piston rings says Imported for RX100 std size. Sorry Doc, I did not understand TKRs here.. I know TKRJ piston kit, is that what you mean? ART piston, I don't think could be possible at this era. So have decided to use the piston came along with bore. Can I use the above rings instead of Goetze?Originally posted by yamdoot View PostNice find Sri. The price was nearly 400/- 17 years back! Sriram, Congrats..! Good going there..! Have not been updating myself with the happenings as office work has increased to many folds. Anyway's, I can see almost everything needed for the restoration there. Have a quick question, i see an Amaron battery there, is it the maintenance free one? If yes, any specific reasons for that? I've heard a lot of dying stories about them not to able to cope up with the vintage charging system that Yamaha's have.
P.S. Would be needing couple of things in those boxes, for a restoration. Will call you once i've freed myself..!

Actually slow paced restoration should I say. That's Amaron 6ah MF for sure. Taken out from my ZMA. I don't want to waste a almost brand new battery, thought would use it on RX100 and see how is the performance.Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostSriram, Congrats..! Good going there..! ^i have been using this Amaron MF for past 2 years. Its quite powerful but cant cope up with the high voltage feedback. So its life is limited to approximately one year(against the 5years warranty). But the one good thing is that it performs very well for that one year!
P.S: i used the warranty and replaced it with a new one after a year. But you have to fix it in a four stroke to claim warranty. So i used my caliber to claim.Rx is a Phoenix!!! It always rise from ashes!!
