Sir, absolutely no clue; sorry to say this, but, I just bought it, fitted it & forgot about it!!!Originally posted by yamdoot View PostPlug looks better that before RG.. whats the plug gap uve kept?
How does someone measure it? I don't have verniers either!!! So its the factory fit & finish & assuming it to be 0.7 or 0.8mm!!!Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

You don't need verniers. You get a simple little device with wires that are of different thicknesses which allow you to check the gap. Like the one belowOriginally posted by aargee View PostSir, absolutely no clue; sorry to say this, but, I just bought it, fitted it & forgot about it!!!

You get a tool where u can check the gap (0.4 0.5 0.6mm), bend the tip, a sharp knife type where you can clean the plug, it would actually look like nailcutter
go to any automobile tools shop you will get it.

One suggestion here, try the NGK Iridiums, no need for setting any gap in this one. Fit & forget. Your call.Originally posted by aargee View PostSir, absolutely no clue; sorry to say this, but, I just bought it, fitted it & forgot about it!!!

Lol...Karthik, I would be a poser after that!!!Originally posted by karthikdattag View PostOne suggestion here, try the NGK Iridiums, no need for setting any gap in this one. Fit & forget. Your call.
Talking seriously, I hear this term often & most people associate this with performance & hence I stay away from it. Do you think it will suit here other than performance?Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

You will surely have better combustion inside the cylinder, this may increase the FE as well and the overall efficiency of the engine. The IX series costs around Rs.550/-, try them.Originally posted by aargee View PostLol...Karthik, I would be a poser after that!!!

Would they work fine with RDD CDI & 90/100 kit?Originally posted by Sandeep_K_Ram View PostYes - most plugs come with the gap set correctly - and if you get the original NGK plugs - IX or any series - just plug and play
Least bothered about FE or cost, but...this is the primary highlight; I need to order one from PlanetDSG soon then!!!

RG, with a RDD kit you dont need a fancy plug coz the kit already produces a big fat spark. Ron recommends a simple MICO WR5BC plug with a gap of .5mm.Originally posted by aargee View PostWould they work fine with RDD CDI & 90/100 kit?

I think I'm going to call one of your guys, either Psycho or Sandeep before I fix the 90/100 & CDI. I'm treasuring the CDI for almost a year now due to the fear of blowing it up. Having completed 2700 Kms today, this is going to be the next step in moving forward after fixing the disc brakes.
Oh!!! BTW, Sandeep, I'm taking your advice on RTR's disc brake about the sharpness. I'll go for Galdiator's disc brakes. I hope they'll match with the existing suspension's bottom.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
