Hmm...is that what you recommend? I thought of fixing it by myself!!! Ok, I'll do as you say. But I'll need th 90/100 installed in addition & the sockets are quite different. Not sure. Do you've the doco from RDD on the 90/100? or else I need to search for them.Originally posted by psycho 98 View PostGet the cdi fixed where sri got it done, last time sri called me from there

you have to match the male and female connectors, 100/90 kit wires are the same colour as of the wiring harness."Engine tuning is not an exact science, but with some practice and patience you'll get comfortable with your skill and be able tune for any conditions mother nature throws at you"

That's the most difficult way to clean the plug. Use WD40 or Zorrik - provides an instant cleanup in less than 10 seconds unless you want to scrub it!!!Originally posted by RX88 View Postgood to see this product thanks for the pic will search and buy this seems easy to clean the plug with this one

Report at 3000
Its been a week nearly since I'm trying to write this, but couldn't. Anyway, better late than never
When I was riding down the bridge connecting NH4-NH5, the ODO completed faithful 3000 Kms & bang immediately the vehicle started stalling at 3001. I know there's nothing to panic or even worry as its starving. So I used the reserve stock & filled the belly at 3009 for 8.14 lts of petrol & 200 ml Shell 2T. This time I decided to measure the FE after long time. Long time is something like, since 2004 may be?
Engine & Gear - As I write this, the ODO is nearing to 3500 & will complete it today. The engine has become lot more crispier, not smooth. The gear shifts have become predictable & crispier, but not smooth.
Sprocket - The "tuck tuck" sound from the front sprocket is really horrible & I feel embarassed to ride with engine switched off at parking lot in the momentum because the Rx becomes an attention grabber.
Vibrations - They're pure bliss!!! There're regular vibrations, but way better for any 2 strokes at these times. They start only after 80 & continue all way upto 100. And the Rx doesn't reach more than 100 unless its a downhill or simple plain straights. But, I don't know how it can still keep with 100's even on uphills; may be I need to try with real hills rather than the bridges.
Rust - None of them seem to be ageing except for the steel plate covering up around the RHS pilot lamp assy.
Exhaust - From Yazuki & Samaha's sound, it has become a way lot better now & I can properly hear a brand new Rx135's sound.
Ride - The ride is a lot crispier & long way (!!!) to go towards smooth. However, the sputtering is still a big issue & hence I decided to be gentle with the throttle too. If the throttle is gentle, then the sputtering almost cease to exist & the same old problem of jerking has cropped up again. Initially I dimissed the thought thinking it would fade away once I cross 1-1.5K, but it keeps following until 3K now.
A community member, a good friend of mine suggested the issues are with the jets & have to be replaced with the stock ones though I'm using the TM. I'm hunting to get one ASAP. The biggest issue to get one is - The Time
as I've been working like hell for over a week+ now & expect no change in the forth coming weekend too!!! Until then, I've to remain gentle with the throttle unless I want to get shaken & stirred
- Thanks Psycho for your suggestions.
Brakes - The front disc is very sharp, but looks like the pads have been worn out & hence the brake lever gets engaged almost near to the throttle. Since this brakes are kind of not seen much around, getting hold to a brake pad is getting difficult. I'm for sure taking advice of Sandeep & keeping away from RTR, but moving towards Gladiator's setup. Not sure when it would happen though.
@Sri - I guess the AGIP engine oil is doing a good job because, it is after the last service, Rx has become so much crispier compared to the original rough attitude. Next time, I'm for sure going to try Motul as per your recommendation.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

Good to hear updates from you. Ideally, you should not experience ANY vibrations. I take my bike all the way to 100 & experience no vibs. Ensure that you are ripping ONLY after the engine is sufficiently heated up. Though, I don't know the connection, usually when I rip on a cold engine, I experience vibs. 60+ speeds is done after covering the 1st 6kms of the day, not before that.A lone amateur built the ark. @Nitin - There's virtually no vehicle without vibrations, its only the intensity that matters. Well, you could say that my Rx vibrates slightly more than Unicorn. I'm not sure how to account it further on vibration.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

I guess for a 2 stroker it is less. When I had the RX100 whenever I got this problem I used to lube the chain and sprocket, with Castrol bearing grease and the vibes would subside...and also check for up and down movement of chain when rotating freely on the main stand. If it is there check and change the def sprocket. The up and down movement should be within 10-15mm.Originally posted by aargee View Post@Nitin - There's virtually no vehicle without vibrations, its only the intensity that matters. There is no machine without vibrations! I phrased it incorrectly. I meant it is not always transferred to your hands and feet. If the engine is running right you wouldn't have any vibration (intense tickles) transferred to your body.Originally posted by aargee View Post@Nitin - There's virtually no vehicle without vibrations, its only the intensity that matters.
