my suggestion would be to go for anything, but that should be a sealed type battery. I spoilt the brand new paint on the frame of my bike by using a non-sealed battery, and the acid spilled over. Now the frame has to be stripped from that area, and re painted.

Jaideep: Refrain from sealed battery. They are prone to burn the pockets. I have plonked Maintenance free Amco 5ah on my RX135 (thinking that will have some better horn instead of pony stock horn). It does the job and never faced any issue for the last 6+ months.RX100 1996 | Karizma 2004 | Karizma-R 2011 | RXZ 1999 | RX 135 1998 | RX 100 1993 | CBF150 2005 - 2011

STRONGLY agreed to ^^^Originally posted by SriramEfunds View PostI would personally not recommend Amaron battery as they are subject to many defects. Any day Exide or Amco will do the job.
I'd also like to clarify that Amaron batteries are not subject to defects, but, those are new gen batteries that aren't suited very well to the old school motorcycles such as Yezdi/Yamaha unless the charging mechanism on the old schools are altered to new gen motorcycles. If over charged, the new gen batteries don't last long, while the old school Exide/Amco will with stand.Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle
