      • RX135, 4 speed cylinder kit

I need a 4 speed RX 135 cylinder kit. Currently, I am running on a sleeve in it. Its good in winter, but engine gets very hot in summer. When I speed over 40+, a clunking sound comes overhead consistently.

I searched the cylinder kit in Karol bagh and Noida area. They don't have the original one, but some Diamond and China made. For diamond kit, they are charging 1700 INR in Noida sector 9, Chinese -- 3500- 4000 INR at Asoka Motors in Karolbagh, and one unlabled was for 2500 INR at Kapoor accessories in Karol Bagh. I also want my seniors' reviews on these available Cylinder kits.

        Thank you,

your other option might be the Ravi Nagesh kit but its still not very cheap. If you can afford long leisure trips then you might wanna go for the best thats available. Atleast for your own safety.

How much does it cost? Mine too a little low, even I replaced headlamp with RE Thunderbird's.

8500 approx with the digital CDI. The thunderbird beam gives a superb light on the kit.

Firstly, why would anyone use a catalytic silencer (big one) when the bike is modded (Engine mods) ???? If the cylinder is ported & someone uses a heavily restricted exhaust system, you are screwing the cylinder big time. Its like you eat & eat, but can't shit, then you know what happens !!!

Boring the cylinder to 150cc doesn't give any sort of performance (with the ports being untouched). This is FYI only.

Please understand what performance means & go through some threads here & you will have an idea of what real performance means.

Answering to your question, using a Performance Air filter like K&N or Pipercross on your existing setup (with catalytic) will make the bike howl. Acceleration or top-speed will not increase. If you dont believe then buy one, fit it & experience it yourself. If you want to use the battery, then it needs to be removed & connected in other side (Air-Filter box side) with the help of clamps.

I have 2 RX135s, both are stage 3+ ported (This is probably the max you can do when we catagorize it as street legal), i dont use any fancy filters nor any battery. Choice is yours.

Try re-winding, with higher turns & then use a 55/60W bulb. This might help & maybe quite cheap. All this because you a student. Once you start earning, go for a 90/100 Kit with associated CDI, Iridium Spark Plug & a 90/100W Halogen bulb.
